He played a cool dad in ‘Khorkuto’, a man with ideology in ‘Mohor’, a fallen hero in ‘Phagun Bou’, whose past life got unfolded after his demise. He also played prominent roles in ‘Anchol’, ‘Chokher Tara Tui’, ‘Tapur Tupur’, ‘Ichche Nodee’ and most of these were hugely popular shows.

Sense of humour

The actor was a leading romantic hero who did beat up goons and rescued damsel in distress in movies. But Abhishek’s sense of humour is worth a mention. His last show ‘Khorkuto’ is a comedy-drama where he is playing a cool dad. His reel character Dr. Koushik has a happy go lucky girl who always follows her heart. Protagonist Gungun’s whimsical actions landed her dad Koushik in tricky positions time and again. And Abhishek was convincing as Dr. Koushik. His comic timing and natural acting made Dr. Koushik’s character close to the masses.
