Krishnakoli:

The show ‘Krishnakoli’ has turned out to be one of the biggest hits of 2018. The show, which has debutante Tiyasha Roy and Neel Bhattacharya in the lead, narrates the story of a village girl, Shyama (Tiyasha). She is a talented Keertan singer but has to face a lot of abuse due to her dusky skin tone. The story of a girl, who has to face all kinds of discrimination only due to her dark complexion, instantly wooed the audience and ‘Krishnakoli’ is dominating the TRP charts by securing position in number one for last few months. Debi Choudhurani:

Based on Bankim Chandra Chatterjee’s novel, the television serial ‘Debi Choudhurani’, has already glued the audience to the television screen. Sonamoni made her debut with this television serial. While, a section of the viewers have reportedly criticized that the storyline doesn’t have much similarity with the famous novel, some of the viewers seem to be enjoying it as the show is scoring well on the TRP chart. Ke Hobe Banglar Kotipoti:

'Ke Hobe Banglar Kotipoti' (KHBK) was one of the most talked about non-fiction shows launched in 2018. Film actor Prosenjit Chatterjee aka Bumba da hosted it. The quiz show was the Bengali version of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ originally hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. Om Namah Shivaya:

The show was one of the ambitious projects launched in June, 2018. Gourab Mondal (as Lord Shiva) and Amandeep (as Sati) played the lead characters. The mythological show created a lot of curiosity since its first promo was launched. With a strong cast, exotic shooting sets, and special effects used, the show had sky high expectations to meet. Bhoomikanya:

It is yet another mega-budgeted show which has an ensemble cast of Sohini Sarkar, Kaushik Sen as Chandrabhanu, Chiranjeet Chakraborty , Anirban Bhattacharya , Sudipta Chakraborty, Rupanjana Mitra. Amloki:

The show was launched in February, 2018 with child actor Aishwarya Roy as Amloki. The little girl with curly hair stole viewers’ heart with her innocent smile. Despite having a strong cast which included Indrajit Bose, Antara, Rita Dutta Chakraborty and others, the serial couldn't recreate 'Bhutu's magic. The show has recently come to an end.
