John Bhattacharyya-Debadrita Basu starrer ‘Alor Theekana’ completes 300 episodes; here’s what the actors have to say

The cast and crew of television show ‘Alor Theekana’ are in a celebratory mood. Their show has completed a successful run of 300 episodes on Bengali television. It certainly called for a celebration. Keeping that in mind, artists Debadrita Basu, John Bhattacharyya, Shakuntala Barua, Joyjit Banerjee along with the members of ‘Alor Theekana’ family celebrated the occasion.
Actress Debadrita, who plays the female lead in the show, is all excited about the new milestone. She says, “Initially, I was a bit hesitant about our Jodi. But the reaction of the audience has been really overwhelming. It’s because of their support, we could have reached this far. I wish they keep supporting us like this."
The show was launched last year in September. John and Debadrita teamed up for the first time as the lead pair. Their reel chemistry is the USP of the show.
The artists, crew members and all others who are associated with the show, took some time off to enjoy a celebratory mood. They had a cosy cake cutting ceremony, followed by a lavish lunch. All the members of ‘Alor Theekana’ family had some cheerful moments on the sets.
John, who is elated about the show’s new achievement, says, “We are like a big happy family. We fight then, in the very next moment, we laugh together, like how it happens in a family. It’s just a start for us. I wish cross many such milestones and viewers keep showering love on us.”
