Love for the art

Acting was his first love. Be it film, television projects or stage shows, Abhishek was always dedicated to his commitments. He was known for his passion for acting and dedication towards work. Right before the day of his death, Abhishek appeared on the shooting sets of couple-based reality show ‘Ismart Jodi’ despite being unwell. He and his wife Sanjukta were participants. Time and again Rachna Banerjee, Indrani Halder spoke about Abhishek’s helpful nature. Once Indrani and Abhishek went to perform in a stage show but things went out of hand when the senior artists reached late at the venue due to some unavoidable reasons. Abhishek and Indrani had to bear a lot on that day because of the angry audience. The former handled everything calmly and helped Indrani deal with the situation.

Several times, he spoke up about his ‘disappointment’ over a few industry colleagues and how he was left out from a few projects. The actor, who once ruled the silver screen, finally decided to step into television. In his early career, he was seen in ‘Krishnakant Ka Vasiathnama’ and decades later, Abhishek started featuring in daily soaps.
