Actor Pratik Sen, who plays Sankhodip Roy Choudhury, aka Shanka, in popular Bengali serial Mohor, was admitted in a city hospital on Sunday. He is currently under observation due to irregular blood pressure. “He is being treated by his family physician. His blood pressure was fluctuating and as a result he was admitted to a private hospital near Ekbalpur,” said a source close to the television channel.
The actor might be released today.
While talking to us about the Pratik’s character in the serial, the maker, Saibal Banerjee, said, “We usually do not work on Saturday and Sunday. So thankfully he was not working when he felt uneasy. We are not changing anything in the script. We are hopeful that he will join our team soon.”
Pratik plays the character of Shanka, Mohor’s love interest in the serial. Currently, the duo is going through a relationship difficulty. The serial also features Dulal Lahiri, Moumita Gupta, Abhishek Chatterjee, Anushree Das and others.
