Meanwhile, all leading channels are working hard to woo the audience with their special programs. A leading TV channel is set to air its special show featuring none other than Subhashree Ganguly as Mahishasuramardini. Subhashree Ganguly as Adyashakti
The very first glimpse of the show featuring Subhashree as the goddess, left the audience impressed. She will be seen as Adyashakti in the soon-to-be aired 'Mahalaya' special show. From her costume to make-up, everything has a special touch. Draped in a traditional ‘laal paar sada saree’ (white saree with red border), Subhashree looked stunning as the goddess. She enjoyed every bit of her experience during the shoot.
Sweta Bhattacharya as Debi Parbati
Popular actress Sweta, who is playing the titular role in ‘Jamuna Dhaki’, will be seen as Debi Parbati in 'Nana Rupe Mahamaya'.
Sriparna Roy as 'Debi Annapurna' and Soumitrisha Kundu as 'Komole Kamini'
The special program will also feature Sriparna Roy and 'Mithai' aka Soumitrisha Kundu. Sriparna of ‘Korikhela’ fame will be seen as Debi Annapurna while Soumitrisha will be seen as Debi Komole Kamini.
Idhika Paul as 'Chamunda' and Susmita Dey as 'Kali'
Susmita, who is playing the titular role in ‘Aparajita Apu’, will be seen as goddess Kali, while Idhika will be seen as Chamunda.
Sweta Bhattacharya as 'Debi Chinnamasta'
Sweta will also be seen in Debi Chinnsmasta's avatar. The actress, who is a trained classical dancer, will be seen showcasing her dance skills in this special show which will be aired on 'Mahalaya'.
Tiyasha Roy as Debi Koushiki
Tiyasha became a household name by playing the titular role in popular TV show 'Shyama'. The actress will also be a part of ‘Mahalaya’ special show. She will be seen as Debi Koushiki.
Srabani Bhunia as 'Lalita Tripurasundari' and Oindrila Saha as Bala Tripurasundari
Actress Srabani Bhunia, who is a part of TV show ‘Jibon Saathi’, will essay Lalita Tripurasundari in 'Nana Rupe Mahamaya' while Oindrila Saha will be seen as Bala Tripurasundar.
