TV show ‘Mon Mane Na’ to air Shivratri special episode; see pics from the shoot

Love and faith go hand in hand at Akandapur. Weaved across the backdrop of a political environment, ‘Mon Mane Na’ narrates how love and passion conquer everything. The show is set to air a special episode on the occasion of ‘Shivratri’ during which protagonists Rudra and Gauri’s life takes a new turn. To give the audience a cinematic effect, the team shot the special sequences at a real-life location. Here are some of the behind-the-scene photos.

Beautiful location

Team ‘Mon Mane Na’ worked hard to give their audience a cinematic feel. The Shiv Ratri special sequences were shot at an old temple at in South 24 Parganas. The outdoor location was beautifully decorated. Samm Bhattacharya, Pallavi Dey, Sampriti Poddar, Anjana Basu and other actors had a busy schedule shooting for the special sequences.

Love and faith

Love and faith play a big role in Rudra-Gauri’s life. With the grace of Mahadev, Gauri wins the battle and finally exposes Boroma and her nasty plans. She also exposes Boroma’s trump card Hiya. Gauri prays to Lord Shiva to win Rudra back too and her prayers get answered.

Rudra

Despite having a hectic schedule, Rudra aka actor Samm enjoyed the outdoor shoot experience. He was quite happy as he got a chance to recreate the famous scene inspired by the superhit film starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati and Tamannaah.

Anjana Basu as Boroma

Senior artist Anjana Basu is playing Boroma’s role in the show. With her powerful acting, Anjana brought life to the reel character. For the special sequence, Anjana wore a traditional saree, teamed up with ornaments, and looked stunning. Here’s a BTS photo of the actress with Sampriti, who is essaying Hiya’s role in the show.
