After Naagin 6, Arun Singh Rana shoots for a vertical drama in Patiala

Actor Arun Singh Rana, is delighted to return to acting and is currently shooting for a vertical drama in Punjab. He is best known for his role as Pandu in the 2013 show Mahabharat and was last seen in Naagin 6 which ended in July 2023 after a year's run.

He says, "I am very excited and blessed to share news about my upcoming vertical drama series. As audiences everywhere are embracing vertical format content, this project holds a very special place for me. This has been the most demanding project of my career so far. I was shooting day and night, often with only two to three hours of sleep." He adds, "I have worked in television for many years, but this was a completely different experience. We had to complete a large number of episodes in a short time, which was both challenging and thrilling. I have always loved pushing my limits, and this project gave me exactly that. What truly excites me is the character I am playing. It is very different from anything I have done before, a completely fresh avatar. I always say that acting is the only profession where you get to live many different lives, and in this project, I am doing exactly that. I cannot reveal too much just yet, so you will have to wait for the release!"

Arun also known for 'Diya Aur Baati Hum' is shooting for the same in Punjab. He shared, " We filmed in Patiala, Punjab, and it was a wonderful experience. The entire team was young, energetic, and deeply professional. Everyone knew their craft and worked with full passion. Hats off to the whole team. I also personally loved working in Punjab because, coming from Himachal Pradesh, the culture and language feel very close to home."



He is open to acting opportunities. "As an actor I don't wish to limit myself and explore acting opportunities across all the mediums. I'm open to TV shows, movies and web too. These days every platforms are doing really good and are helping actors to reach new audience."

He has appeared in shows such as Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki (playing a negative role), Kaal Bhairav Rahasya, Kavach... Kaali Shaktiyon Se, and Vikram Betaal Ki Rahasya Gatha.
