From being a doting dad to two girls to undergoing massive physical transformation: All you need to know about Dalljiet Kaur’s UK based fiancé Nikhil Patel

Dalljiet Kaur is all set to tie the knot with UK-based Nikhil Patel, who works in a finance company. While BT reported exclusively about their wedding plans, the couple made it official on social media as well and congratulations have been pouring in. Here take a look at Dalljiet’s fiancé Nikhil, his family life, his work and more.

All set to begin the new chapter of their lives, Dalljiet and Nikhil shared a quirky photo with the caption, “The stars aligned and fate played a part in bringing our hearts and souls together. Our journey to forever starts now. A new life, a new country (Kenya in Africa), a new beginning. Together. Maktub - It is written.” This is the second wedding for both of them and their wedding hashtag is #DalNikTake2.

Nikhil Patel is based in the UK but currently working in Nairobi, Kenya, where both of them will be living for a few years. Nikhil works in a finance company building brands, also works as a mentor and investor. Dalljiet shared their plans to move to London later, where Nikhil was born and raised.

Nikhil has two daughters, 13-year-old Aariyana and eight-year-old Aanika. He is a total #GirlDad and in one of the posts, where he is posing with his girls, he wrote, “Of all my titles & responsibilities, being a "Super Dad" and role model to these two beautiful & strong individuals, is the most fulfilling. I am a total #GIRLDAD (thanks for the gift Julie!) and proud of it. You've all seen my stories of me wearing nail polish, or having bows in my hair, or doing princess tea parties...I embrace it and cherish every moment. Too many dads out there try to act too manly, macho, and have big egos...but it's actually a strong man that shows his positive emotional side to their kids...EQ is powerful and important life skill to teach our kids.”

While speaking to BT, Dalljiet informed that while the younger daughter lives with mother, the elder lives with him. It was their love for their children that built a bond between them. Nikhil’s social media profile is filled with pictures of him and his girls.

Nikhil shared photos from his obese days and had a major fitness transformation in 2019. Sharing photos, he wrote, “So I decided to "bare it all" and show you that physical (& #mental) change is possible, and that you shouldn’t give up…you can and will be a better person in 2020! I started Jan 1st '19 weighing in at 175lbs (79kg) at over 35% bodyfat, having been told the previous year that I was pre-diabetic, and had high cholesterol. Basically I WAS #OBESE!” He wanted to be in his best shape in 40s.

Dalljiet met Nikhil aka Nick at a friend's party last year in Dubai. They got talking when Dalljiet noticed blue nail polish on his toes. Dalljiet shared, “He replied, ‘I am a proud dad of two girls.’ Romance wasn’t in the air back then; it was just two single parents chatting. Love happened with time.”

Nikhil loves to travel and explore new places and he has been to several places with his daughters. In one of the posts he wrote, “We don’t do holidays, we do adventurous.” From Paris, Italy, Kenya, Austria, UAE to the UK, Nikhil and his daughters have been to many places.
