Amid rift in marriage rumours with Indraneil, Barkha Sengupta seeks calm and peace in Benaras; pics from her trip
Barkha Sengupta, who was last seen in Shaadi Mubarak, has been in the news in recent times owing to the rumours of rift in her marriage. While both Indraneil and Barkha have cleared saying all is well in their paradise, looks like the latter is on a self care trip. The actress is on a solo trip to Benaras and posted several pics on social media giving glimpse of the bylanes and ghats.
Banaras on a bike
Barkha posted this striking pic as she poses on a bike and wrote about the enchanting city Benaras. She wrote, “Benaras on a bike … this city is enchanting …. Be it the beliefs of years gone by … the pious temples …. the cursed temple… the broken boat ride…. the last dip in the Ganga … the streets and the ghats … they all have a story to tell … of a time long gone … of a city that survived it all!”
Seeking blessings
The actresses has been touring the city on her own, visiting places and she shared glimpses from her days well spent.

Meeting new people and getting inspired
In Benaras, Barkha met one Salma, who has been working towards uplifting the transgender community. She shared a pic of meeting her and wrote, “She’s been through so much just for who she is …. But her spirit is inspirational … Salma.. as she’s lovingly called by some… a person I’m so glad I got to meet and know!”
In search of solace
Sharing this picture, Barkha wrote, “Just give me a train ticket, an open window, a cup of tea and an unknown landscape … the rest will take care of itself ! #thoughtoftheday.”

In recent times, the actress posted several quotes and cryptic notes that reflect her thoughts. While in one of the posts she captioned her pic as ‘Walking out of the darkness’, in one of the pictures she wrote, “I’m the book you always opened but never read.”
‘No trouble in our marriage’
Reports of all not being well in Barkha and Indraneil Sengupta's marriage emerged in June owing to the latter’s rumoured closeness to a Bengali actress. However, both Indraneil and Barkha denied such trouble. Barkha told BT in an interview, “Such rumours become a part and parcel of your life when you are in showbiz. Neil and I have spoken about this and we don't feel the need to give it any significance. Neil and I are fine.”
