Anita Hassanandani opens up about life after motherhood and maintaining a strong marriage; says, “If you love the person..”
Anita Hassanandani, best known for her role as Shagun in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, recently opened up about the changes in her personal life after the birth of her son, Aaravv. In an interview with Hauterrfly, the versatile actress candidly discussed how becoming a mother has impacted her relationship, particularly her intimacy with her husband, Rohit Reddy.
When asked about changes in her s*x life post-motherhood, Anita admitted, "It does change a little bit. S*x is very important in a good relationship. If you love the person, you should be open about asking for what you want." She further emphasized the importance of communication and reconnecting with one's partner after such life changes.
“Relationship dynamics do shift, but in a strong marriage, you’ll always find a way back. There’s nothing wrong with expressing yourself—if you want something, ask for it instead of waiting. Otherwise, you’re just wasting time,” she added.
Rohit has been a constant source of support, helping her maintain balance in their relationship. As for how the couple met, their story is just as charming. According to reports, Rohit, a businessman from Goa, first noticed Anita at the gym. He didn’t know she was a popular TV actress and eventually approached her after seeing her car outside a bar.
The couple welcomed their son Aaravv on February 9, 2021, and often share adorable moments with him on social media. On the work front, Anita has appeared in hit shows like Naagin, Kkavyanjali, Kabhii Sautan Kabhii Sahelii, and Nach Baliye Season 9. She is currently starring in Suman Indori, alongside Ashnoor Kaur and Zain Imam.
