Anupamaa fame Adrija Roy shares dreamy engagement pictures with fiancé Vignesh; see pics
Adrija Roy, who’s been winning hearts with her role in Anupamaa, got engaged to beau Vignesh Iyer. She has now shared dreamy engagement moments with him on social media. The couple look adorable together, and fans have congratulated them on this special occasion.
Adrija took to her Instagram handle and shared a series of pictures from her engagement. While the actress looked beautiful in a pastel pink gown and a glammed-up makeup look, Vignesh kept it classy in a black outfit. The two shared dreamy moments together and gave a glimpse of the ceremony to fans on social media.
The caption of the post read, “This.. us.. forever 25/1/26.” Soon after she shared it on social media, fans took to the comment section and showered love on them. The ceremony was attended by her Anupamaa co-actors and close industry friends, including Shivam Khajuria, Alka Kaushal, Satya Tiwari, Shiwani Chakraborty, Mazher Sayed, Sheersha Tiwari, Zalak Desai, and Jatin Suri.
She recently spoke to Times of India about her engagement with Vignesh and said, “Basically, this is a South Indian Tamil Brahmin family, and their ritual was like that. I had to wear a Kanjeevaram silk sari. His mom told me about it, and we went and selected the one she suggested from a proper South Indian saree showroom in Bhiwandi. We did all our shopping from there. We decided that we would wear contrasting outfits during the day, but for the evening, we matched our outfits as per the ritual.”
She then revealed why Rupali couldn’t attend the event and said, “Rupali (Ganguly) was in the Maldives, but we did speak over a voice call, and she gave me all her blessings and good wishes. Our producer, Rajan Shahi sir, also sent me a lovely message as he couldn’t attend, saying that his blessings are always with Vignesh and me.”
