'Anupamaa’ February 14 written update: Anupama helps Kapil in telling the truth about his marriage

The latest episode of ‘Anupamaa’ starts with Rahi noticing how anxious Prem is. She asks him about what happened to him and what made him so angry. Prem says that everything is okay and admits that he missed her. He, meanwhile, recalls promising Prerna not to tell Rahi and Anupama about her actions.

Rahi continues to talk to Prem about why he is anxious

Rahi persists and says that something has felt off ever since he returned, and wants to know why he feels restless. Prem admits that something did happen; however, he clarifies that the investor they met at the meeting has not replied yet, which has made him agitated.




Rahi then wonders about what Gautama and Mahi were insinuating with their taunts and decides to confront them about the matter. Prem, however, stops her and tells her to let it all go. He asks her if she trusts him, to which Rahi replies by saying that she does. He finally comes clean about everything; however, he also defends Prerna, citing that she was simply working. He keeps asking her if she trusts him, and Rahi reassures him that she has faith in him.

Kriti accuses Kapil of hitting her

Later on, Kriti calls and gathers all of the family members together and shows them a wound. She alleges that Kapil is the one who has been abusing her and that he injured her badly in the process. While Vasundhara and Parag grow livid, Prem questions her about how Kapil was able to hit her in front of everyone without being noticed.

Kapil stops everyone and denies that he ever did anything. He tries to show video evidence of his innocence to Parag, however realises that the video has been deleted. Kriti has a brief flashback of finding the video on Kapil’s phone and deleting it. Parag grows even angrier and hits Kapil. Before he is able to do anything more, Anupama quickly intervenes and stops him.

Anupama brings out the truth

She stops everyone and then goes up to Kriti, praising her. The latter grows confused and asks her what she is talking about. Anuapama tells her that it is commendable how she is handling her home and bearing with abuse, and how her family is standing by her side. However, in a turn of events, Anupama shows a video on her phone that reveals that Kriti is the one who hits and abuses Kapil regularly, not the other way around. The Kotharis watch the video in disbelief. Vasundhara says that it cannot be true as she saw Kapil raise his hand on Kriti.

Kriti also denies everything and accuses Anupama and Kapil of morphing the video. Anupama confidently tells her that they can get the video tested at a forensic lab if she feels that she is being wronged. Anupama then comments about how some women are getting justice rightfully for domestic abuse; however, some are misusing the law to cover their own wrongdoings. She also comments about how husbands also face domestic violence; however, they rarely get justice.
