‘Anupamaa’ January 29 written update: The Kotharis are left on the verge of losing their house

At the Kothari mansion, Vasundhara’s health worsens as she refuses to eat from Rahi’s hand. She blames Rahi and Anupama for everything and asks her why her mother is doing all of this. She also starts talking about her death, saying that it will be the only thing that frees her from Rahi and Anupama. Khyati arrives and helps Vasundhara. She makes Rahi leave as Vasundhara refuses to eat anything if Rahi remains in the room.

Chawl residents refuse to help Anupama

The scene shifts to Anupama, who faints in the middle of the road near the chawl. While many of the residents see her, they refuse to help. Pari, Ishani, Anita, Preet, Prerna, and Sarita rush to help Anupama. They splash her with water and then criticize the residents for watching everything.




They also ask Anupama about why she is still supporting them, calling the chawl residents selfish and mean. Anupama says that she made a mistake by signing the papers carelessly, so their reaction and behaviour are normal. She then insists that since the time is running out, they need to find a lawyer, no matter what.

Meeta packs her bags to leave the house

Back at the mansion, Meeta packs all of her bags and announces that she is leaving. All of the family members try to stop her, though she refuses, saying that in two days, the mansion will be sold off, so there is no point in staying any longer anyway. Parag announces that he will attempt to save the house. He asks Meeta not to give up so easily.

Parag and Khyati request Gautam to help them out; however, he refuses to, citing that he does not believe in Ansh and that the money will help his unborn baby. Ansh and Prarthana stand by Parag. Ansh also mentions that one of his friends’ uncles can also arrange a loan at the last minute.

Rajni fears Anupama is up to something

Rajni starts fearing that Anupama is somehow targeting her, Varun, and Prerna, and tells her son to stay indoors. She also follows Anupama around to see what she is up to. Meanwhile, Anupama takes her case to many lawyers; however, every time they all tell her that there is no proof and the case is too weak.

Rajni also finds out that her opposition party is planning on approaching Anupama soon to contest in the coming elections against Rajni.
