Anupamaa’s Rupali Ganguly reveals cast was ready with passport and visas to shoot in the US; says ‘I was scared to leave my son, makers built US in India’

Rupali Ganguly recently took to her Instagram handle to come live and have an interaction with the fans. In the live session, Rupali addressed many fan comments and shared how they had already planned everything for shooting in the US and were going to travel, but suddenly Rajan Shahi created a set like the US in just 7 days in Mumbai. She also requested fans not to judge Aadhya aka Aurra Bhatnagar for the current track and more.

There have been so many comments about this sweater. I take it as your love for Anupamaa. You guys are concerned and concerned about her. There are two sweaters a white one and a beige one and I wear them alternatively. I think it goes with the narrative as well, suddenly Anupamaa is not going to go shopping in America. You have to trust the writers, the makers. All the other characters in the show are shown as pretty affluent. Anupamaa has come to a new country. I don't like shopping so I don't like finding a shopping space and doing everything. Anupamaa is also like that. She is like our moms at home. Even my mom has only had two sweaters for years.

I was really scared that I would have to go to the US for the track and for how long I would have to stay there. How will I stay there leaving my son? Rajan ji is the sweetest. He brought the US for us here. Initially, everything was planned and we were going for the outdoor shoot. Our visas, passports, everything was ready and he suddenly decided that we would bring the US here. He built this set in just 7 days. I am really happy that you guys are liking it. For TV, this is a completely new thing.

Now, you all would be angry with Aadhya aka Choti Anu. But the kids are like that, especially in the preteen phase. They get a little adamant about things at the moment you say anything to them they take it very emotionally and at that age they react in a certain way and have that emotional outburst. So I would like to request you all to not judge her like this.

Being a mother in real life, there is a phase where the child yells 'I don't want to talk to you, I don't want to see you.' The child is hurt, not because he doesn't love his mother. Fathers also have such a wonderful role to play. I enjoy watching Anuj and Aadhya's bond on-screen. Even at my place, my son is more attached to my husband because he is such a fantastic father.

The stereotype is gone, it isn't like only mothers have to handle the child and the house. Even fathers do that. We have always glorified mothers, the deserve it but even fathers in today's world have such an important role to play. It is not about gender it is about sharing the parenting duties. I cannot come in between Ashwin and Rudransh's bond. As a mother, I feel really happy to see how he loves his father more. Ashwin is more of a mother to him.

I read a lot of comments where Anupamaa ko chhod dena chahiye, pareshaan kar rakha hai iss aurat ne. Now that she left Anupamaa, they want her back in Anuj's life. Some had also written that Anuj should move on and now they are questioning him. So I want to weigh whose thoughts are stronger, should Anupamaa move on or MaAn should reunite, there are many options to the story.

You all have loved MaAn so much, we had never imagined that a middle-aged couple would receive this much love. You all have praised us from the first shot, when Anuj came home for the first time when Anupamaa fell for Anuj and all those highs and lows in the relationship. Not to forget Baa, Kinjal's issues, and kids problems and after all that when they came together all of you rejoiced. MaAn got married on 18th May and how you guys celebrated with us.
