Archana Puran Singh opens up: 'Ego almost broke our marriage'
At one of the food corners, she bumped into a fan who praised her, saying, “I’m a big fan and watch all your content. Your laughter is the main thing in the Kapil Show.” Archana laughs and asks him about Kapil. Later, he says, “Kapil is alright but your laughter is the main thing in the show.” Archana responds by jokingly saying, “Dekha Kapil, you’re alright but my laughter is the main thing in the show.” The fan at the food corner didn’t take money from her, saying he’s a big fan.
She then said, “Kapil dekhega toh bolega, yaha bhi free ka kha rahe ho.”
Ayushmann, on the other hand, spoke about Archana’s diagnosis with CRPS. He said, “I am proud of my mom. She has had the hardest year, guys. She broke her hand, and she developed a rare condition called CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome), which means her hand is never going to be the same again. She has shot for 2–3 movies and a web series. One month she shot during all 30 days, and she didn’t complain. She has shown me the resilience that it takes to be amazing. At 60-something years old, she has started a YouTube channel and all these cool new things, and that’s just incredible.”
Archana broke down emotionally and said, “I am so proud of you. You didn’t even mention yourself. My kids make me cry, sometimes in anger, but these are happy tears, and I am extremely proud of you.” Ayushmann hugged and consoled her. The family later went on to explore the market of London.
