Bharti Singh and Krushna Abhishek open up on World Laughter Day and what keeps the joy alive on 'Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment' season 3
When the world pauses once a year to celebrate laughter, one kitchen on Indian television hardly needs a reminder because for 'Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment', every single weekend has always been a Laughter Day. This time, however, the show pulls out all the stops to mark the occasion in a way that is as wild and chaotic as the show itself.
The episode opens on a heartfelt note as Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi takes a moment to address the celebrity contestants and, through the screen, the millions watching at home. In a tribute that is touching and celebratory, he wishes everyone a heartfelt World Laughter Day and declares the entire cast the Laughter Therapists of the world, a title that, honestly, no one could argue with.
The celebrations then take a wonderfully spontaneous turn with the introduction of a live mic placed right in the middle of the kitchen. The rule is simple and the chaos that follows is inevitable; whoever's name flashes on screen must step up to the mic and perform, while the rest of the cast continues cooking around them. What unfolds is a masterclass in unfiltered entertainment: stand-up routines interrupted by sizzling pans, punchlines landing over the clatter of utensils, and the kitchen erupting in laughter.
Talking about World Laughter Day, Bharti Singh says, “I’m grateful for all the love I get as India’s laughter queen. Laughter has been my lifeline, my armour, and my truest identity. Life has not always been easy, and there have been chapters that tested me quite a lot, but through every single one of them, laughter was what kept me standing. It is what I came back to every time. And I think that is why, when I am on the set of ‘Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment’ every moment feels so meaningful to me, because I know firsthand what a genuine laugh can do for a person's soul. On this World Laughter Day, I want to remind everyone that laughter is not a luxury, it is a necessity. Hold onto it, share it generously, and never let the world take it from you.”
Speaking about Laughter Day, Krushna Abhishek shares, “For as long as I can remember, I have always been that person in the room who makes someone laugh! And honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way. Making people laugh is who I am, at my core. I want to thank the entire Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment team, from the crew behind the cameras to every cast member who shows up ready to give their all, for being the reason so many people across the country get to end their weekends with a smile. On this World Laughter Day, I want people to understand the power of a good laugh - it can dissolve tension, heal relationships, and make even the heaviest of days feel lighter. Laughter is the most honest emotion there is. So get ready to welcome more of it every weekend with Laughter Chefs!”
