Bigg Boss 13's Paras Chhabra reveals the reason behind breakup with ex-girlfriend Mahira Sharma; blames live-in relationship
Bigg Boss 13 stands as one of the most successful seasons in the history of the controversial reality show, and its enduring popularity continues to spark discussions even five years after it aired. The contestants from that season remain in the spotlight, consistently making headlines and keeping the public's curiosity alive about their personal and professional lives.
One of the contestants, Paras Chhabra, has been hosting podcasts with his fellow Bigg Boss 13 co-contestants, rekindling fans' memories of that memorable season. Paras Chhabra, who developed a close relationship with Mahira Sharma during Bigg Boss 13, ended their three-year relationship last year. Although the reason for their breakup was previously unknown, Paras has now revealed the details for the first time in his recent podcast.
During his conversation with Shefali Jariwala, who was also a fellow contestant from the season, the actor blamed live-in relationship to be the real reason behind their breakup. In the interview, when Shefali asked Paras what he is upto these days, the Vighnaharta Ganesh actor shared that he is single after his breakup. He says, "Main toh single hoon filhaal. Aap ke saamne he tha joh bhi tha relationship, joh shuru hua tha Bigg Boss mein. Ek joh tha joh continue hua 2-3 saal tak. Toh bus wohi live-in mein the hum, toh jaise maine kaha live-in ke zyaada tar relationship kharab he hote hain ( I’m currently single. What was there was in front of you during the show; the relationship that started in Bigg Boss continued for 2-3 years. So, we were living together, and as I mentioned, most live-in relationships tend to deteriorate)."
At this point, Shefali disagrees with him and adds that there is nothing like that. They broke up doesn't mean a live-in relationship doesn't work, maybe they were not meant to be together. Paras agrees with Shefali and responds, "Yes, you are right maybe we were not meant to be together. Par jitna time bhi tha bahut sahi tha bahut sikhne mila life mein."
Shefali, who was equally close to both Mahira and Paras said, "I’ve always been very fond of Mahira. I always wish that both of you find good partners."
During the podcast Paras also made a revelation that now he wants to just settle down and not get into the dating phase, "Now, I don’t want to get into dating phase. I just want to get married. Faltu controversy hoti rehti hai and people look at me as a playboy and Casanova but in reality I’m not that. I’m doing this podcast so that people get to know I’m not what they think about me."
