The actress, who started off her career with Mohabbatein in the year 2000, is still known for her cameo role in Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai. Been in the industry for more than two decades, Shamita was known for being Shilpa Shetty’s sister until 2021. In 2021, she decided to participate in Bigg Boss OTT and moved ahead to do Bigg Boss 15. It’s after her reality show stint that Shamita has managed to make a place for her in fans’ heart. Today, she is amongst the most popular celebs and is often looked out for.

Did you know that Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’s Jethalal aka Dilip Joshi worked in films for almost 20 years before he got his big break with this show. He has been a part of many Bollywood films including Salman Khan’s Maine Pyaar Kiya, Hum Aapke Hain Koun! among others. During those years, Dilip worked on TV too. However, it was after TMKOC that he saw massive success and fame. Today, he is one of the most loved actors of one of the most loved TV shows.

Anupamaa’s Vanraj aka Sudhanshu is another actor who has got his much awaited fame through his latest stint on TV. The handsome actor, who debuted in films with Khiladi 420 in the year 2000, has been a part of many other popular films including Murder 2 and Singham. However, it looks like destiny had something else planned for him. It is with his stint in Anupamaa that the actor has got what he was looking for all these years. Sudhanshu is one of the most popular celebs on TV today. Even though he receives massive backlash and hate because of the character he plays, he has carved a niche for himself with it.

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’s Abdul aka actor Sharad Sankla had done multiple movies before he featured in the sitcom. From Baazigar to Baadshah, he has been a part of many big Bollywood films. However, it was after his appearance in Taarak Mehta that he came to be known. Moreover, he is recognised with his character name ‘Abdul’ more that his real name.

Did you know that Bigg Boss OTT fame Raqesh Bapat started his acting career with the movie Tum Bin in 2001? He continued doing films until 2005, when he tried his luck on TV with Saat Phere. Raqesh got recognised for his negative role in the show and continued to work on TV. He went ahead with taking up TV shows and worked simultaneously in films too. It was with the show Maryaada that Raqesh got reached massive success. Thereafter, he carried on with his work on TV and did a few other shows including Qubool Hai, Bahu Humari Rajnikant and others. Taarak Mehta’s Nattu kaka aka the late Ghanshyam Nayak was another great actor who got his much awaited fame with his stint on the TV shows. An actor who began his career as a child artist in 1960, Ghanshyam Nayak worked in films for years. However, it looks like it was in his fate to get recognition from TV. His appearance in TMKOC as Nattu kaka made him receive name and fame. The actor, who passed away in 2021, while battling a fatal illness, is still known by his character name Nattu Kaka.
