​Inspiring journey

Talking about his incredibly inspiring journey, Anurag says "I was born in a middle class family, My father was a teacher and I did my Graduation and after completing my post graduation I was preparing for my last entrance exams to enter the teaching profession. I was really fond of exploring new food and new places. Back then the concept of Moto vlogging was alien to me. In those days the KTM bike passed the vibe check as it was important to be a part of the cool gang (laughs)." (Photo: Instagram)

​Tuition classes to survive

He continued, "I started taking tution classes starting from Rs 300 to fulfill that dream of mine and this was my first step towards it. And then I went on to teach in schools and colleges. I somehow saved Rs 1 lakh by the end of the year and I told my father that I need to buy that bike as I am trying to make a career through YouTube. He trusted me and gave me the money." ​Journey in vlogs

He further added, "I still remember dancing when I hit the mark of 500 subscribers on YouTube. So yes, I have got things after working really hard and I have seen it all. Good days bad days, extreme bad days and days when I felt suicidal. I have seen it all." ​His health issues

In one of his podcast interviews, Anurag had also spoken about the health issues he suffered as a kid. He revealed that he suffered from a brain tumour, "My family condition was not that great while growing up. I suffered from a brain tumour, I was 6 when I was diagnosed with a tumour and till I turned 14 I was on total medication. After suffering from brain tumour I was totally off for the next three years and there were different other symptoms because of that like I used to get fits, I was very weak and I used to have blackouts. Now, I am quite better. Not many are aware that till the age of 14, I only survived on medicines." (Photo: Instagram)

​Financial issues

In the same interview, Anurag had opened up about facing financial issues, "My father’s salary was only Rs 1200 at that time and I had Asthma also due to my medical condition. The inhaler that I used to use would cost around Rs 300. So just imagine in that salary my father would spend so much on my medication Rs 300 on an inhaler which would only last for a month and plus other medication.
