Bigg Boss OTT: Twitter reacts to Shamita Shetty's entry amid Raj Kundra's arrest in porn case, a look at highlights of her appearance when she paired up with Raqesh Bapat and more

Shamita Shetty surprised many as she entered the Bigg Boss OTT stage. While her family is going through a tough time with her brother-in-law Raj Kundra's arrest in alleged porn case, the actress revealed her reasons for joining the show. She also caught attention for choosing Raqesh Bapat as her connection and getting into an argument with Pratik Sehajpal. Here are the highlights of her appearance from the premiere episode.

Shamita danced to her popular number 'Sharara Sharara' and surprised many with her unexpected entry on the stage. In her stylish red gown, she looked at ease on stage.

While her brother-in-law is in custody, Shamita clarified on stage that she had committed to doing Bigg Boss OTT way before the porn controversy happened in which her brother-in-law Raj Kundra is embroiled. She didn't mention the case but referred to it vaguely.

In the premiere episode itself, Shamita had a slight argument with another contestant Pratik Sehajpal. She said that he gives her a Korean vibe to which he took offence. This led to a tiff between them but Shamita let it go.

During the premiere episode, each female contestant had to pair herself with a male one. Shamita Shetty chose Raqesh Bapat as she felt he was considerate towards her during the task and also they both have OCD. She felt this might help them gel better.

Twitter had interesting reactions to her surprise entry in BB OTT. One user wrote jokingly, "#ShamitaShetty left BB3 because jiju entered their lives. She entered BB OTT because jiju left."

Well, it seems Twitter seems to have found a soft spot for the two. Talking about them, a user tweeted, "Bigg boss should utilize Shamita and Raqesh's chemistry." Another wrote, "Omg this one guy in #BiggBossOTT is so damn annoying. He has such a major chip on his shoulder, so rude and aggressive for no reason…what an idiot. I don’t even know his name lmao...But I’m glad #ShamitaShetty and #RaqeshBapat are paired up!"

For the unversed, Shamita was also a part of Bigg Boss 3. However, she quit the show on Day 34 as she was called for her sister Shilpa Shetty's wedding with Raj Kundra in 2003.
