Broken engagement to losing the loved one in a car accident; times when Bigg Boss contestants opened up about their past love lives

Contestants, who are locked inside the Bigg Boss house for months and months tend to get comfortable with co-contestants and forget that they are being captured. They also tend to open up about their personal lives and recently, Karan Kundrra opened up about his ex-girlfriend Anusha Dandekar. Well, this isn't the first time, in the past, too, contestants have revealed about their former love lives, let's take a look:

In the recent Bigg Boss 15 episode, Karan Kundrra told Shamita Shetty that there are a lot of similarities between her and Anusha Dandekar. The actor said that Pratik Sehajpal has already listed the similarities between them. He said, "The honesty factor, the emotional side, the not giving up on once decided, ye sari cheezein bahut similar hai." He also told Shamita that had he and Anusha had a conversation once, their relationship could have been saved and also wished for her to watch him say this.

Pavitra Punia, who was seen in Bigg Boss 14, had confided in Kavita Kaushik and spoke about her broken engagement. The actress had said, "I got engaged in 2015 and the relationship lasted for three years. We broke up in 2018. At that time only he said, ‘Main kisi se shaadi nahi karunga. Agar koi life me aa sakta hai, that's only you. Even before.’ I miss my ex-fiancé every single day. But we're not together na, mujhe sagaai shaadi nahi karni hai, I've been very clear with him from day one."

Shamita Shetty, who did Bigg Boss OTT before entering the Bigg Boss 15 house, had an emotional moment after her fight with connection Raqesh Bapat. She found a friend in Neha Bhasin during the show and shared her apprehensions about being in a relationship. Shamita revealed to her that her former boyfriend died in a "car accident" and it took a lot for her to heal. "This is why for so long, I didn't allow anybody in my life. Because it took me so much time to put myself... the pieces back together that I would much rather take care of myself than let myself be in somebody else's hands. I'm fine, being on my own then," said Shamita.

Eijaz Khan had opened up to seniors Hina Khan, the late Sidharth Shukla and Gauahar Khan about one of his exes, who tried to frame him in a false dowry case and also took away his pets to torture him. Eijaz also spoke about how she kept threatening him and was under the assumption that he would marry her. The actor said that his father and family were affected by it. When Hina asked him to name the girl, he said that she is a married woman with a daughter now.

This isn't a serious revelation but a funny moment where Nikki Tamboli wore one of her ex-boyfriend's boxers. She was seen ironing them and said that she is missing him and wants to feel closer to him by wearing his boxers.

Paras Chhabra's relationship with Akanksha Puri became a heated topic while he got closer to co-contestant Mahira Sharma on the show. During the family special episode, Paras clearly stated to his mom that he doesn't want to stay with Akanksha. And, time and again said that he wants to end the relationship but she (Akanksha) is "clingy". This did not go down well with Akanksha and called off the relationship. Paras also did a show called Mujhse Shaadi Karoge where he compared one of the contestants, Sanjjana Gilrani to Akanksha and said that he doesn't connect with her at all and she is a ditto copy of his ex. A person who wants to show off whatever she is doing but her mental level doesn't match at all.
