Celebrity Masterchef: Hina Khan gets emotional as she talks about beau Rocky Jaiswal’s support in her breast cancer journey; says ‘He applies balm on those scars, he never cries in front of me’

In the latest episode of Celebrity Masterchef, Hina Khan became emotional as she opened up about her battle with breast cancer and the unwavering support of her longtime beau, Rocky Jaiswal. Their heartfelt conversation left everyone deeply moved. Hina spoke about Rocky’s strength and how he has been her pillar of support throughout her journey.

The world just knows that mujhe ek cheez hui, the C-word (cancer). People don’t know more than this. After that time to time in 2 months, 3 months, we started knowing more things about my health, my body.

I have scars, I have been treated surgically and a lot has happened. And for someone like Rocky, when he looks at me, he is the one who applies balm on the scars. He sees them more than me, closely. He touches them. He asks if they are better. It is hard for me to look at myself. He looks at it and he will go to the bathroom, cry and come back. He doesn’t cry in front of me.

“He started loving me more than how he loved me pehle,” said Hina. Rocky added, “I don’t think I have met a braver soul than Hina. Hina shared, “Each and every girl in the Universe should get a partner like him.”

I met Rocky for the first time on the sets of my first show. It was many years back. He had joined as a Supervising producer. We connected over each other’s good work and started respecting each other. After that we became friends and then we realised there’s a story.

When you meet anyone on set, you greet them and hug them. Then one day when we hugged, it felt different. It wasn’t friendship. She calls me her home, my everything is she. She is all I can think of.

Hina recently posted something on social media. The response that came on that post, I don’t think that was correct. As a partner, this is your responsibility. As a partner, if you are not doing this, then what is a partnership about? If a man is not this, then he is not a man.

It was initially quite shocking for them because we belong to different faiths. With time, I made zero efforts, in the bond that Rocky shared with my late father or how his bond is with my mom now, I made zero contribution. He made his place in their hearts. Now they love him more than me.
