Hina Khan reveals the reason she quit Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai

Hina Khan, who rose to fame as Akshara from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, recently got candid and revealed why she quit the show after being its part for 8 long years. In an exclusive interaction with ETimes TV, the actress shared, “When I left Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai I had nothing in mind. I had never thought about any image makeover or proving anything to anybody or to the world. I wasn’t thinking that I want to show my real side to the world. It was not the case. I was just done with the show and I wanted to take a break. That’s it.”

The actor took to his Instagram handle and thanked fans for their love and support throughout the harsh times. He also shared that he is trying to stay as optimistic as he can during the tough phase and is eager to breathe on his own, soon. Aniruddh shared that getting emotional lowers down his saturation level. The Kapil Sharma Show fame, Sumona Chakravarti recently poured her heart, about being unemployed, battling a medical disorder, mood swings and also shared how she feels blessed and privileged to sail through the tough times. In her long note, the actress wrote, “Did a proper workout at home after ages... Some days i feel guilty, because boredom is privilege. I may be unemployed & yet am able to feed my family & myself. That is privilege. Sometimes i feel guilty. Specially when am feeling low due to pms’in. The mood swings play havoc emotionally.Something ive never shared before. I have been battling endometriosis since 2011. Been in stage IV for many years now. A good eating habit, exercise & most importantly no stress is key to my well being. The lockdown has been emotionally hard for me.”

Sudha Chandran's father and veteran actor KD Chandran passes away

Actress Sudha Chandran lost her father KD Chandran on May 16, due to a heart attack and multi-organ failure. Remembering him and his words, post his demise, the actress shared with ETimes TV, “I was very lucky to have such strong parents in my life. My mother and my father. I lost my mother in 2004 and it was a very big blow for me. I still remember when I met with an accident and the amputation had to take place, he came to me and held my hand and said don’t worry ‘I shall be the leg that you have lost’. Today, my success story I owe it to my parents. I have always repeatedly said this.”

Geeta Kapur surprises fans with her Sindoor look for Super Dancer 4

Super Dancer Chapter 4 judge, Geeta Kapur surprised her fans with her latest look for the show wherein she can be seen sporting sindoor. Fans speculated that the choreographer had gotten married, soon after the pictures were out. However, Geeta later clarified that nothing such has happened and it is just her look for an episode of the dance reality show. Talking about the look, she told BT, “No, I am very much sporting the sindoor. The pictures are from the latest episode of the dance reality show Super Dancer 4. The episode was about the evergreen heroines of Bollywood, and we were dressing up like them. So as the world knows how fond I am of Rekha ji, I decided to dress up like her and since she wears sindoor, I too wore it.”

A case was registered under the SC/ST Act, against Taarak Mehta fame actress Munmun Dutta on May 18. The actress was booked after she faced backlash for using objectionable words for the SC/ST community in one of her latest YouTube videos. The FIR was filed after a complaint by Rajat Kalsan, convenor of the National Alliance for Dalit Human Rights, on May 11.

Gauahar Khan shuts troll for saying 'women are always at man's feet'

Gauahar Khan recently shared a video wherein she can be seen wrapped around husband Zaid Darbar’s legs in a cosy setup. However, little did she know that she would invite trouble for herself by sharing it on social media. Several internet users trolled the actress and one such user wrote, “True Islam the women is a domination of man and always at his feet.” but Gauahar didn’t keep calm and replied to the troll with a befitting reply. She shut the troll by explaining what Islam preaches. She wrote, “No loser, it's called comfort, friendship, love n companionship. In Islam the woman is described at not above nor below a man, it's next to him, so she can be close to his heart. Learn n explore before u talk some bulls**t (sic).”

Raja Chaudhary on Shweta Tiwari's failed second marriage

In one of his recent interviews with BT, Shweta Tiwari’s ex-husband Raja Chaudhary got candid about his views on her second marriage. He talked about Shweta’s marital problems in her second marriage and the legal battle she is going through. He stated, “There is no doubt that Shweta is an excellent mother and a very good wife. It is just a sheer coincidence and her bad luck that history is repeating itself with her and her second marriage too has failed. But then this doesn't make her wrong or a bad person.”

Jijaji Chhat Par Koi Hai actress Hiba Nawab recently spoke about her journey on TV, surviving the pandemic with positivity and more in an exclusive interview with ETimes TV for its Tellyblazer segment. Getting candid about how she manages to stay positive during the tough times, Hiba revealed, “Sometimes when my heart is full I just cry. I cry out loud, I scream my lungs out and cry but in my room. I don’t want to haunt my family. Sometimes it is ok to cry it out when you are feeling too low. It’s ok to vent out, it’s ok to cry and it’s ok to not to talk to anybody. It is normal to feel a certain way when you are locked in a room, not working, not being productive.”

Deepika Singh reacts to being trolled for dancing in the rain amid cyclone

Diya Aur Baati Hum fame Deepika Singh was recently trolled for dancing in front of an uprooted tree. The actress who shared the images on social media, experienced the wrath of netizens for dancing in the rain when the cyclone hit the country. When ETimes TV contacted her she shared that the tree that can be seen in her pictures was planted by her only. Talking about the hateful comments and her reason to step out, Deepika said, “The cyclone indeed was very scary and my heart goes out to all those affected and my only aim is to plant as many trees as I can. I will not stop spreading positivity, and this is for my well-being and happiness. I don't regret it but, I would definitely request the audience to not step out in the rain, this area is right outside my house. Therefore, I stepped out for 5 minutes.”
