‘Everyone beware,’ writes ‘Bigg Boss 19’ winner Gaurav Khanna’s wife, Akanksha Chamola, warns fans of impersonation scam

In this day and age of digitalization, no one is safe from online crimes. Recently, ‘Bigg Boss 19’ winner Gaurav Khanna’s wife, Akanksha Chamola, also found herself in the middle of an online fraud. She got to know that someone was using her name, impersonating her, and reaching out to her circle. She quickly took to her social media handle to alert everyone about the impersonation scam.

Taking to her social media handle, Akanksha Chamola shared a screenshot with ‘scam alert.’ Sharing proof that someone was operating under false pretences, she wrote, “Please ignore and report this number as it’s impersonating me and messaging all of my friends.”




“Everyone, beware, this isn’t me… I don’t have a second functioning number," she added as she highlighted the number which was using the name - Akanshag Khanna.

She requested that everyone not respond to any message that comes from the said number and emphasized reporting the scam if they get contacted.
