Exclusive- Anjali Tatrari on exploring new characters after Vanshaj: I want to explore characters out of my comfort zone and move towards OTT
Anjali Tatrari won hearts as Yuvika in Vanshaj, now that the show is soon to wrap up, Anjali exclusively opened up to ETimes TV about her journey with the show and her plans on doing interesting characters. Anjali also shared what kind of scenes she enjoys doing onscreen. Here's what Anjali shared:
What have you learnt from the show?
So with Vanshaj one thing I have learnt from Yuvika's character is to never give up. Despite all the challenges in even our real life, we should never give up and always show up. Apart from that, I am taking a lot of love back to Mumbai. I am going to meet all of them in Mumbai and I received a lot of love from everyone here be it my co-stars to my whole crew.
Any of the scenes that have been your favourite
I love doing emotional scenes. I feel they are my strength as per what my fans have told me. There have been many scenes that have been my favourite. There was one scene in Rishikesh where I lost my father, I also got connected to my personal life performing. It was challenging to do but came out to be very beautiful as the grief couldn't hit me at first and I continued eating the ice cream. I couldn't accept what the doctor said until I saw my father. Even Neel's death scene was quite challenging where I suddenly broke down after holding up for so long.
Any character that you would love to do?
Anything out of my comfort zone, I have done a lot of positive characters till now. I want to explore a negative character or something where I am doing action or abusing onscreen. I want people to see a different side of me while I am performing. The audience should have never seen this side of me. I want to do characters which are out of my comfort zone, I want to move towards OTT now, I am not blocking the Television shows, jo bhi mila hai TV se hi mila hai. But I think to grow, I must explore new opportunities in my career and as an actor it's time that I move to OTT.
Fans shall surely miss Anjali onscreen as Yuvika.
