Exclusive - Bigg Boss 18's Shalini Passi opens up about meeting contestants, fights in the house and calls Rajat Dalal 'a straightforward person'

Shalini Passi, who recently appeared as a special guest in an episode of Bigg Boss 18, spoke exclusively to the Times of India TV about her experience on the show. She shared her views on the ongoing drama and tensions in the house, particularly mentioning a clash between Rajat Dalal and Shilpa Shirodkar that occurred while she was present. Shalini also gave her take on the contestants and expressed that her co-star from Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Housewives, Neelam Kothari, would be a fantastic fit for Bigg Boss if she ever decided to participate. On her first reaction to the offer of Bigg Boss

The first thing I thought was why would anyone want to invite me. Then I got to know that they invite guests and wildcards and call people like that. So I said fine I’ll do it. My dramatic team called me and asked me if I would want to do this, I said yes I can, this is something new. (Photo: Instagram)

On her experience

The experience was very emotional. I did not go inside the Bigg Boss 18 house with an expectation of getting emotionally attached to the housemates. But I got emotionally attached with them and I had tears while leaving the house. All of them were really good. Initially, few people stood out but later when I was talking to them, I realised each one of them is very special. Sara, Yamini, Digvijay, Eisha and Bagga Sahab. Each one is special in their own way. On fights and tension in the house

The audience enjoys watching the fights on the show, After staying together for so many days, disagreements are bound to happen. There are also other factors like not getting enough rations, sleep, having difficult tasks to perform, and managing household duties. The makers intentionally put a lot of pressure on them. When I met the contestants, they told me about all of these challenges. There’s a lot of pressure on them mentally, physically, and emotionally. (Photo: Instagram)

I just wish and pray that all the contestants participating see their dreams and aspirations come true

If twelve people are living in one house under these circumstances, friction is bound to happen. On top of that, only one person can win the show, so there is competition as well. It's really tough to leave behind your work, family, and outside life, and live inside the show without any communication. I just wish and pray that all the contestants participating see their dreams and aspirations come true. (Photo: Instagram)

We had a wonderful time, chatting and sitting together

Before I entered the house, I had heard there were a lot of fights happening inside. But when I actually entered, everyone seemed very happy, although they were also a bit tense. We had a wonderful time, chatting and sitting together in a very friendly atmosphere. They were asked to perform tasks, and they were doing it. There was a lot of great bonding going on. I was taken aback when I saw a small argument in front of me

Yes, there was a small friction between Rajat Dalal and Shilpa Shirodkar. But I told Rajat that I don't appreciate it when someone speaks rudely to women. It's important to speak to women with kindness and respect, regardless of their age. I was taken aback when I saw a small argument in front of me but then I understood that Rajat ji is a sportsperson who lives a disciplined and principled life. If he has an opinion about someone, it's set, and no one can change it. His views and goals are clearly defined. (Photo: Instagram)

Rajat is a very straightforward person

I can understand him because I’ve been a sportsperson myself and deal with a lot of athletes. I know they are very focused on their goals. He's a very straightforward person. I’m not fully aware of what happened between Shilpa and Rajat in the past, but I tried my best to explain my point to him. Now, it's up to him how he wants to handle it. (Photo: Instagram)

I don’t enjoy watching dramas, fights, or overly dramatic music or visuals

I tend to get anxious in negative situations. If I can help, then it's fine, but otherwise, I get palpitations. I try to avoid such situations or remove myself from them. I don’t enjoy watching dramas, fights, or overly dramatic music or visuals, as they make me anxious. I don’t like that feeling. When I felt that discomfort, I made sure to tell them that I was feeling uncomfortable. I’m just a little sensitive. (Photo: Instagram)

Neelam Kothari can be a good Bigg Boss contestant

Who will make a good Bigg Boss contestant, I think Neelam can be a good contestant. She is very hands-on, intelligent and I also feel she’s a very people’s person. She will not unnecessarily insight anybody. She also has a calming effect. She will be good. (Photo: Instagram)

Who would you want to take inside the Bigg Boss house as your partner?

If I get a chance to go inside and choose a partner for myself. I would choose Maheep Kapoor or Seema. Because they will give a lot of entertainment I feel. (Photo: Instagram)

He (Rajat) is the only genuine person in this show. rest are fake samikaran actors riding on each other's support. Usually he is the only one colors/BB targets. He deserves to be the winner of BB, however knowing colors with their favorite contestants, signing and promising before hand for contracts..anything can happen according to them.
