Exclusive – Bigg Boss 19: Nagma Mirajkar responds to Shubhi Joshi’s cheating allegation on BF Awez Darbar, Amaal Mallik’s Rs 20 lakh claim and wedding plans

In an exclusive conversation with Times of India TV, Bigg Boss 19 contestant Nagma Mirajkar opened up about some of the most talked-about moments from her journey on the show. She addressed the recent cheating allegations surrounding her boyfriend Awez Darbar, shared her thoughts on Amaal Mallik’s controversial remarks about giving them work, and gave fans a glimpse into her upcoming wedding plans. To be completely honest, I really had a great time inside. Even though there were fights, the house still had its share of warm and wholesome moments, and we genuinely enjoyed being around each other. Personally, I had a lot of fun and also learned so much from the experience. (Photo: Instagram)

The only thing I regret is that I relied too much on my heart instead of using my mind, unlike some of the other girls who played more strategically. But that’s just who I am as a person. Even in real life, I’ve faced betrayals in friendships because I tend to trust easily and give people the benefit of the doubt. I don’t hold him responsible. Honestly, I feel it was just an unfortunate situation. Even if he thought Bigg Boss might get upset with his actions, the worst outcome he would have expected was his own nomination, since he was the one doing it. I’m sure it never crossed his mind that it would lead to nominating the two of us. His intentions weren’t wrong, he was acting out of friendship, and I genuinely believe he was a good friend. Amaal said on the show that he was the one giving us work. I heard his Rs 20 lakh remark. That felt unfair, because we were never negative toward him. Work isn’t given out of sympathy or just because someone is nice, it goes to people who are talented and capable. Why do we get opportunities? Because we put in effort and do our job well. It’s always a two-way street. You can’t claim to be giving work only because someone behaves well with you. If that were true, then I could just focus on being “good” and never actually do anything. That comment really had no base at all. What hurt me most was that in the very first week, there wasn’t even 1% negativity from our side. When I first stepped out and saw this, my immediate thought was that Baseer must have said it to Awez in a moment of anger. We were extremely upset with him at the time of task. It is the Bigg Boss house, it doesn’t even make sense to drag it into such talks and make personal comments. They discussed Awez's character, forgetting that his parents might be watching at home. They didn’t consider what’s true and what’s not. That I felt was very shallow. Honestly, it revealed more about them than the person they were talking about. If losing in a simple task affects you so much, it says a lot. It hurt me deeply. I never expected this from him. It broke my heart. (Photo: Instagram)

Our group had one simple principle: we would play the game fairly and not do anything wrong. If someone crossed the line, we would call it out. Most of our conversations were light and entertaining. But when I came out, I realized Amaal and team were planning everything behind everyone's back, speaking badly about others, targeting families, and even using abusive language. For example, there was a lot of abuse from Baseer toward Awez, and I’m really proud that Awez didn’t retaliate at all. I believe people will notice this and continue to see what’s really going on. I don’t want to comment on anyone right now. I just want to make it clear that I’m with Awez, and we stand together. Our journey spans nine years, we have seen each other grow both personally and professionally. In these 9 years, sometimes we were not on talking terms, that’s normal. Right now, we have made a huge decision to get married, and there’s a lot of clarity between us. We have discussed everything, and our bond is strong. So whatever comments are being made, especially inside the show, won't affect me, because if this relationship weren't built on trust and understanding, it wouldn’t even exist. (Photo: Instagram)

Before entering Bigg Boss, we had set a wedding date in December. But now, I don’t think that will be possible since the show will run until December. Inshallah, I want Avez to stay till the end and win. I had also planned to be inside the house until December, which is why we didn’t go ahead with the December date. Now, we will discuss a new date with our families. I’ve only been out for a week, so once I settle down, we will sit together and finalise a new plan. (Photo: Instagram)
