Reacting to the honour, Ishita expressed how close the moment felt to her personally. Sharing her feelings, she said, “I congratulated him over a call. I share a very close bond with him, and he often says I’m his favourite on the set—you can ask him, he’ll always say that.”
She further spoke about how inspiring Arvind Vaidya has been in her journey. “There is so much to learn from him. He has done extensive theatre work and has also been a theatre teacher, so he shares a lot of insights. He talks about his life experiences and the struggles he has faced,” Ishita added.
