Exclusive - Kanika Maheshwari Gets Emotional as She Revisits Vaishno Devi Temple; says 'I Asked Mata Rani for a Son and She Gifted Me My Blessing'
Television actress Kanika Maheshwari recently talked about her connection with Vaishno Devi Temple. She went back to the temple and recalled some very emotional and important moments of her life. For Kanika going back to Jammu is not a visit it's a journey that makes her feel thankful and faithful. It reminds her of memories.
"I have fond memories of visiting Vaishnodevi since I was a kid. I used to visit the shrine with my parents and cousins. Every trip felt so special. There’s a kind of peace and energy that you feel there. It’s something that always pulls you back," she said.
She recalled a moment that strengthened her faith even more. She shared, "There was a time when we couldn’t get tickets from Jammu while going home. It was a phase for us. We were extremely worried about how we would go. In that moment my mother folded her hands. Prayed to Mata Rani with complete faith. She asked for a journey back home. Just when everything seemed impossible a family came to us and said they are not going back and didn’t need their tickets. They asked if we would like to take them. It felt like a miracle. We got the tickets. We reached home safely. That day our belief in Mata Rani became even stronger."
Kanika talked about the blessing. "There have been times when I’ve prayed with a pure heart and Mata Rani has listened to me. I had once made a wish. I asked Mata Rani for a son. Mata Rani blessed me with the beautiful gift of my life. My son is truly Mata Rani’s blessing, my miracle. I named my son Reyansh. I kept a connection in mind inspired by Nanakpur Nanak. Every time I look at him I feel overwhelmed with gratitude and love. It feels like Mata Rani answered my prayers in the beautiful way possible."
She thought about the temple again. "Being here again today makes me emotional. It reminds me of every prayer, every moment of faith and every blessing I have received from Mata Rani. I can only say thank you to Mata Rani for everything she has given me."
Sharing the reason behind her visit Kanica said, "The reason I am here at Vaishno Devi today is because I had made a promise to Mata Rani that I would visit her temple every five years. I last came when I was 40 years old and now as I'm about to turn 45 I am here again.”
Kanika Maheshwari’s journey shows how strong faith and devotion can make prayers come true. Her visit, to Vaishno Devi Temple was an soulful experience.
