Exclusive - Shrutika Arjun steps into 'The 50' soon after surgery; says, 'Even after surgery, I knew I couldn’t let fear stop me'
Shrutika Arjun is stepping into The 50 with honesty, courage, and a deep sense of responsibility toward her audience. After winning hearts as an entertainer on Bigg Boss 18, she now sees this new reality format as a chance to show a stronger, more resilient, and more truthful side of herself.
Explaining what convinced her to say yes to The 50, Shrutika says, “What really pulled me towards The 50 was its honesty. This show doesn’t let you hide it truly tests who you are. After Bigg Boss, I received so much love as an entertainer, and I felt a responsibility towards my fans. I wanted to show them my real strength. Even after my surgery, when my doctor advised rest, I knew I couldn’t let that stop me. Saying yes to The 50 was my way of proving that belief in me was never misplaced. I’m going to miss Arjun and my Aalu-Baalu, but they’ve been my constant support and the ones who motivated me to take this step. It wasn’t easy, but it felt absolutely right.”
Talking about how the show’s focus on mental and physical strength excited her, Shrutika shares, “That shift excited me a lot. This format gave me a chance to push myself while still entertaining in a very organic way. I’m genuinely very happy to be back on television. This is a game where I’ll be connecting directly with my fans, and they’ll get to see my real personality. For me, that connection matters more than anything. I wanted audiences to see that strength, resilience, and fun can go hand in hand, and I knew this was my moment to show that nothing can stop me when I’m determined.”

Opening up about the mental challenges inside the house, Shrutika adds, “The only thought that can be challenging is self-doubt. When you’re constantly tested, compared, and pushed, that inner voice can get loud. But I’ve faced a lot in life, and every time I’ve chosen to rise above it. I remind myself why I started for my fans and that keeps me grounded and focused.”
As Shrutika Arjun embarks on this new journey with The 50, she does so with clarity, courage, and an unwavering belief in honesty ready to face every challenge with strength, authenticity, and heart.
