Exclusive - Vikas Gupta on CBI's probe in Sushant Singh Rajput case: It's a ray of hope but it was worst to see his family and Ankita being attacked

Two-months after Sushant Singh Rajput's 'mysterious' death, the Supreme Court has ordered a Central Bureau of Investigation probe into the case. Sushant's father, KK Singh filed an FIR with the Bihar police and they demanded a CBI probe into it after the alleged non-co-operation from the Mumbai Police. Sushant's family, along with Ankita Lokhande, and many of his well-wishers are happy and are calling this move to be their 'First ray of hope.' To speak about it, ETimes TV contacted television personality, Vikas Gupta, who shared a close bond with Sushant and Ankita, while they were in a relationship. Read on: (Interview by Gayatri Nirmal)

I would say that it’s so unfortunate that it had to be the Supreme Court, the highest and the last place that has not yet given justice but a ray of hope. Everyone is feeling that they have won because that’s what has happened. The country has invested its emotions with Sushant after what has happened to him. My first reaction was to first check Twitter and I knew if it has happened didi (Shweta Singh Kirti) or Ankita (Lokhande) would have tweeted.(Photo: Instagram)

There are people who were championing this and are sure about who has killed Sushant. I am not sure about who did but I have spoken about what I am very sure of. What I have been championing is that he was not in depression and nor was he bipolar. It’s not a suicide. As the case went ahead. His height was not 5.7 but 6 feet and lastly, he was being given the wrong medication. Do not write names of people and term them as killers because you have a hunch or it feels like.(Photo: Instagram)

Siddharth, my younger brother moved out and needed help. Sushant not only helped him but gave him so much love and respect even more than I would have hoped from a friend. He took care of Sid like his family. From throwing birthday parties to travelling only in business class to the best gym memberships.
