From a complicated C-section to premature delivery; Debinna Bonnerjee recalls her journey of giving birth to her ‘miracle’ baby Divisha

From a complicated C-section to a premature delivery, Debina Bonnerjee opens up about her challenging journey of giving birth to her 'miracle' baby, Divisha. In her heartfelt vlog, she shares the emotional and physical struggles she faced, offering an intimate glimpse into the trials and triumphs of welcoming her second daughter into the world.

Tensed pregnancy

Though I was bleeding in the first trimester, the pregnancy was smooth. It was for some reason and I was a bit worried. I was told to take bed rest, but since I already had a baby, it was not that quite possible. The uterus was not very ready so Divisha had to come out in 7 and half-quarter to 8 months.

3/8

A planned C-section

For Divisha, it was a planned C-section. I got admitted to a hospital a day before. Divisha was switching places. The night before, when the doctors were checking her heartbeat, they couldn’t find it.

Moments before delivery

“Debinna was in tension and I was also in tension. We are trying to keep things light and hoping for the best. We are just praying”, said Gurmeet.

5/8

Complicated C-section

Divisha was in a transverse position. She was in a diagonal position. Doctors thought it would be easy to take her out. But when the docs gave the numbing injections and they tried to find her, Divisha was no wear to be seen. Wo horizontal hoke, mere rib cage ke neeche jaake phas gayi thi. You can’t put your hand inside and bring the baby out in such a position because the neck might break.

Divisha’s birth

The doctors tried several ways to bring out Divisha and finally got her out but pulling her legs. A normal C-section took me half an hour whereas a normal delivery happened in less than 10 minutes.

7/8

Debinna’s positive thinking

I wasn’t tensed and kept talking. I just kept thinking that when God made this happen, I knew everything will go well. During Divisha, I was on God’s path. I could see, and understand everything. My parents were a bit surprised because she was so small, but I knew everything would go well. Her injections had started much before her birth for lung development.

8/8

Becoming a mom to two babies

I was made to walk the next day and with two babies, I knew I couldn’t rest anymore. I was up and about doing ten things. Along with taking care of myself, I knew I was not a patient anymore. The kids are mine. I came home after 3-4 days and my journey began with the two kids.
