The summons come after authorities received over 500 complaints alleging that several influencers and YouTubers promoted the HIBOX mobile application, enticing people to invest, according to a police officer cited by PTI. The complaint names social media personalities like Saurav Joshi, Abhishek Malhan, Purav Jha, Elvish Yadav, Bharti Singh, Harsh Limbachiya, Lakshay Choudhary, Adarsh Singh, Amit, and Dilraj Singh Rawat, who allegedly encouraged investments through the app. Launched in February this year, the HIBOX app attracted over 30,000 investors. Hemant Tiwari, DCP of the IFSO Special Cell, revealed that the app promised guaranteed returns of 1 to 5 percent per day, amounting to a staggering 30 to 90 percent monthly.
