From Big B stealing his grandson Agastya's clothes to wife Jaya getting candies for him; Best moments from Amitabh Bachchan's birthday on KBC 14

'Kaun Banega Crorepati 14's latest episode was a delight for all the Big B fans as it saw the birthday celebration of the most loved host and star, Mr Amitabh Bachchan. Big B, who has become synonymous with the show, 'KBC', got an amazing surprise from his son Abhishek and wife Jaya Bachchan as they made an appearance on the show. During the episode, Mr Bachchan was left teary-eyed at numerous occasions by witnessing the love and affection from his family and fans. There was a role-reversal in the latest episode when Abhishek Bachchan joined the show. The Guru actor revealed that he was on the show to celebrate his father Big B's 80th birthday. Abhishek followed his father's footsteps literally when he gave tissues to him whenever the latter got emotional, kept them in his pocket he helped him with a glass of water and the way he read out the questions. Mr Bachchan got emotional at many instances during the episode. Abhishek shared, "I would like to tell everyone Paa's birthday is like a festival for everyone in the family and this one is very special as it is his 80th birthday." (Photo: Instagram)

Abhishek made Big B accept that he has been a very obedient kid and has fulfilled all the responsibilities of a good son. He then asks the megastar why he loves Shweta Bachchan more. Big B smiled and replied, "Because she is my daughter." The Bol Bachchan actor gave up and replied that he can understand this feeling because he is also now a father of a girl, Aaradhaya. Abhishek played a video which made Mr Bachchan recall his old memories from childhood. Big B recollected his memories from the past with his father and his old house was shown with lines from Harivansh Rai Bachchan's famous poem 'Madhushala' played in the background in the latter's voice. Abhishek asked Big B, "Main aap se poochna chahta hoon woh sangam kinare, woh 8 saal k bacche joh baithe hue the unke mann mein kya chal raha tha." To this Big B replied, "Baandh cross karke I will have jalebi and milk." Abhishek interrupts and says, "Those days it was called Jaleba in Allahabad. You would apply Kadu Oil and take bath in Sangam and when I was a kid they would apply Kadu tail and then bathe me." They both burst into laughter. (Photo: Instagram)

Shweta sent a video which had compilations of photos from her childhood to her marriage days. While looking at her photos from her wedding and Bidaai, it brought tears in Big B's eyes. Abhishek stated that in personal life that was the first time he watched him cry. (Photo: Instagram)

During a candid conversation with his father on the sets of 'Kaun Banega Crorepati 14', he recalled: "You must be remembering how during the screen test of my first film you came to Kamalistan Studios to help me in the rehearsals of my lines." Later he also added that he would read the best script of his life. He said: "I am going to read the best script of my life today 'Mere Paa'." This brought tears in the eyes of Big B. Abhishek invited mother Jaya Bachchan on the show and she got khatti meethi candies with her. As she sits on the chair, she gives candies to Big B and they enjoy the sweet-sour candies. She held his chin and wished Big B 'Happy birthday husband'. She then left Big B speechless by asking that he often sends flowers and letters to people whose work he likes, but she has never received any flowers or letters from him. Abhishek enjoys the moment and pulls his dad's leg. The Guddi actress goes on to share that they feel blessed that they have great kids like Abhishek and Shweta. The Dasvi actor revealed that they have been planning this birthday surprise for last six weeks and it was a task to keep it a secret from Big B. Abhishek said, "When we got ready in the morning today, we were confused about how to step out because Paa would come to know then. He further shared that Jaya Bachchan and he got ready at 6 am but did not come out of their rooms, before Big B left for shoot. Once Mr Bachchan left for the shoot, they reached the set and hid themselves from him till the time they were not called. Jaya Bachchan got Laapsi for Big B and then played an old video of Shri Harivansh Rai Bachchan with the entire family in which Big B can be asking him how a person should celebrate their birthday when they turn 80. Veteran actress Jaya Bachchan was seen complaining to her husband and superstar Amitabh Bachchan for not sending flowers and letters to her like he sends to others as a token of appreciation. She said questioning Big B: "I have not seen but heard that when you are impressed with someone's work or nature, you send that person either flowers or letters but you never sent it to me. Jaya Bachchan reveals that they don't sing 'happy birthday at their home on birthday' or cut cakes.
