The week has been quite an eventful one for the TV industry. While Taarak Mehta's producer Asit Modi made the big announcement of Dayaben returning to the sitcom, Ramayan's Sita aka Dipika Chikhlia was called out by her fans for her modern attire at a party. Payal Rohatgi and Sangram Singh, who had been dating for a long time, will tie the knot on July 9. Sangram told BT, "I am both excited and nervous. We have been together for so long. Shaadi ek important aspect hai hamaari life ka and we hope to stay happy and blessed as we embark on a new journey together. Payal and I will get married on July 9. My mother and sister helped us finalise the date. We are currently in the process of zeroing in on the venue. In an exclusive conversation with ETimes TV, Faisal Khan opened up about the time he was bed-ridden for 9 months due to his leg injury. He said, " I couldn’t do anything during that time and I was bedridden for 9 months. It was a very tough period. The moment I started recovering, lockdown happened and again I was stuck at home. Shraddha Arya took to her social media account to reveal she has been conned by an interior designer she hired for her new house. She told BT, "I was looking for an interior designer online that's when I found him. I hired him to do my house after I got married in November last year. He had promised to finish the work in four months but it took longer than that. The amount he quoted was in lakhs and I have already paid him around 95% of that. Now he has gone away with my money as well as all the material that I had bought for the house." While talks of her character returning to the show are rife, BT recently learnt that Disha Vakani has become a mother for the second time. Her husband businessman Mayur Padia and her brother, actor Mayur Vakani, confirmed the news. Mayur Vakani, Disha's brother, who plays the role of Sunderlal in the show, said, "I am happy that I have become an uncle again. In 2017, Disha had her baby girl and now she has become a mother again, and I have become mama again. I am very happy."

Sasural Simar Ka actor Shoaib Ibrahim has certainly fulfilled one of his dreams. He has bought his first property in Mumbai. "I came to Mumbai in 2009 and finally in 2022, I've managed to buy a house. The 13-year-old dream is now going to get fulfilled. While Asit Modi remained tight-lipped about Disha Vakani returning to Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, he confirmed one thing. Her character of Dayaben will certainly be back. He exclusively told ETimes TV, "I don’t know yet if Disha Vakani will be back as Daya Ben. We still have a very good relation with Disha ji. We are like a family. But now she is married and has a kid and everyone gets busy with their own responsibilities. We all have our personal life, so I won’t be able to comment on that. But you will surely get to see Daya Ben and we as a team will try our best to give the same entertainment that we gave you before."

ETimes TV exclusively learnt that Rakhi Sawant, who recently declared she is in love with Adil Durrani, got a call from his ex-girlfriend Roshina. Roshina claimed that she has been dating Adil since 4 years. She further informed Rakhi about the times that she has spent with Adil and asked her to stay away from him. When Rakhi confronted him about her, Adil told her she is his ex-girlfriend. Right after the news broke out, Rakhi and Adil left for Dubai where the latter has bought a house in her name. In a joint interview, he said he plans to start a dance academy with Rakhi.

Dipika Chikhlia posted a few photos of her in a white shirt, skirt, sneakers and a necktie. Litte did she know that it would disappoint her fans who call her 'Sita Ma'. They took to the comments section to disapprove of her dress and also the drink in her hand. Talking about it exclusively to ETimes TV, Dipika said she didn't expect fans to be unhappy with her post. "No, else I would have never done it. I never want to hurt my fans. I am feeling bad that I have been trolled. I am feeling bad that I have hurt my fans' sentiments. I am aware that people see me as Sita and not as Dipika," she said.

Banoo Main Teri Dulhann fame Manish Naggdev is all set to get engaged to Malika Juneja, an HR manager, on June 8 at a sundowner party in Goa. The wedding date is still being finalised by their families but it will take place in September. Manish told BT, "Malika and I had been planning the wedding for the past year. However, it kept getting postponed because of the COVID-19 scare. Since we plan to have an intimate wedding affair, we decided to have an engagement party. I wanted it to be a casual affair and not formal at all. Na koi load na koi tension, na hamein aur na hi guests ko. Now, there can’t be a better place than Goa for it. The engagement will be during the sunset by the pool."

Mahhi Vij told ETimes TV, "Tara has been offered daily soaps lately and I am quite against it. Because I don’t want her childhood to be spent on the sets. I want her childhood and innocence should be there. Like brand endorsement and all is fine because brands love her. Utna theek hai but nothing beyond her.
