From Disha Parmar and Nakuul Mehta to Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan; TV's iconic duos who left the show midway

The whole year has witnessed many shows going off-air and even continuing with impressive TRPs. While some shows had numerous leaps, some witnessed the iconic duos quitting the show midway. Take a look at the Television Jodis that left successfully running shows midway:

2/7

Disha Parmar and Nakuul Mehta

Bade Acche Lagte Hai 2 is all set to take a leap and focus on Pihu's story, while both Nakuul and Disha decided to take an exit owing to the reason that they didn't want to age onscreen. Fans have lauded the duo as Ram and Priya in the show.

3/7

Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and Ankit Gupta

Priyanka and Ankit left the show as the makers decided to introduce a generation leap which would have shown both Priyanka and Ankit in their mid-40s, the actors refused to age onscreen so they chose to quit the show midway. After the exit, the duo even entered Bigg Boss 16 house together and left the fans in awe of their friendship.

4/7

Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan

Shivangi and Mohsin were a part of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai for good 5 years and more. The actors decided to take an exit from the show as their characters had experimented with all shades and even took many leaps. Later the makers introduced the third generation of the show with Pranali and Harshad.

5/7

Sumbul Touqeer and Fahmaan Khan

Sumbul would have looked extremely young as the mother of Megha Chakraborty and Seerat Kapoor in the show Imlie post the leap. So the steamy duo Fahmaan and Sumbul decided to quit the show.

6/7

Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia and Mahir Pandhi

Nimrit Kaur has been part of Choti Sarrdaarni since the beginning, the actress was first paired with Avinesh Rekhi and after the first generation leap, she played her daughter Sirat's character in the continuation and Avinesh had quit the show. Mahir was introduced to the show as the new lead and later they decided to quit the show as the makers introduced another generation leap to the show.

7/7

Sriti Jha and Shabir Ahluwalia

Sriti and Shabir were a part of Kumkum Bhagya for more than eight years, finally, the duo decided to end their track and exit from the show to shift the focus to Ranbir and Prachi's love story.
