From Isha Malviya’s boyfriend Samarth Jurel’s entry to Abhishek Kumar calling Mannara Chopra ‘duplicate Parineeti’; Bigg Boss 17’s major highlights of the week

It was a week full of chaos and drama for Bigg Boss 17 and its contestants. While, some had huge fights with co-contestants, others tried to make new bonds on the show. Another major highlight of the week was the entry of two wildcard contenders Samarth Jurel and Manasvi Mamgai, which eventually led to big fights in the house. Here’s a look at the major highlights of the week.

Mannara Chopra and Ankita Lokhande, who were good friends in the first few days of Bigg Boss 17 had a big fight this week. Mannara’s room was changed from ‘Dil’ to ‘Dimag’ and the two stars (Mannara and Ankita) got into an argument. At first, Ankita requested Mannara to clean the kitchen platform. However, she didn’t like her tone and the way she called her ‘bacchi.’ Mannara then fumed in anger and called her ‘a cheap woman’ and ‘cunning.’ However, Mannara was later schooled over the same by host Salman Khan.

Things weren’t going very good in the ‘Dimag’ house. Mannara and Khanzaadi got into a tiff with the former telling her that she ruins the vibe of the house. This led to a huge fight between the two of them. Mannara even said, “she ruins everyone’s mood, who stays in the same room with her.” Later, Khanzaadi broke down emotionally and shared everything with Ankita. Mannara was also seen crying.

Vicky and Ankita’s relationship saw a downfall this week. Ankita was seen constantly complaining to Vicky for not giving her time and ‘emotional support.’ However, Vicky blamed her for always fighting with him. Salman Khan schooled Vicky for his behaviour towards his wife Ankita on the Weekend Ka Vaar.

Abhishek was once again seen getting into an ugly spat with Mannara Chopra. It started with Ankita Lokhande telling Abhishek that Mannara doesn’t like when someone talks to her about her sisters (Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti Chopra). Abhishek then used the info against Mannara and called her ‘duplicate Parineeti.’ Salman was quite upset with this comment of his and bashed him during the Weekend Ka Vaar.

Vicky Jain has a good bond with almost everyone in the house. However, his bond with Sana Raees Khan was questioned by Mannara Chopra. She was seen talking to Anuragh about how Sana told her that she is very close to Vicky. She further said that Ankita is insecure of her as her husband spends time with Sana.

This week also saw the entry of two wildcard contenders- Samarth and Manasvi. Samarth’s entry was something that shocked everyone as Isha constantly claimed to be single. At first she denied that Samarth is her boyfriend but later accepted that he is her partner. This left the housemates confused. Abhishek cried inconsolably after Samarth’s entry.

The first eviction took place this season in Bigg Boss 17 and it came with a shocking twist. Bigg Boss announced two names getting lowest audience votes and then asked the housemates to vote out one contestant who is the least deserving. The housemates chose to save Sana Raees Khan over Soniya Bansal and hence she (Soniya) got evicted.

In the Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Salman Khan welcomed his brothers Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan. The brothers confirmed that they will join the show every Sunday and will be roasting the contestants. This Sunday, they roasted Neil Bhatt, UK07 Rider and others.

Munawar Faruqui and Mannara were the first two contestants to enter the Bigg Boss 17 house. They two built a good friendship and were seen standing by one another. In one of the episodes, Vicky asked Munawar if he likes Mannara to which he responded by saying that he genuinely cares about her but that’s all. Munawar was also seen spending a lot of time with Khanzaadi which led to housemates point fingers at them. Vicky, Abhishek and others talked about how Munawar is equally close to Mannara as well as Khanzaadi.
