Anupamaa is set to take a leap of 5 years in the show, however, looking at the current track, netizens have been quite upset with the show. From Kunwar Amar Singh's entry to Malti Devi and Barkha's monotonous drama, the show has dropped from its first position to 3rd and sometimes even 4th. After Sagar Parekh's exit as Samar, the makers brought in a new character Kunwar Amar Singh as Tapish, a dancer and influencer from Mumbai. The track was supposed to unfold as the new love interest for Dimpy, however, things haven't worked in favour of the actor as fans couldn't connect to his track and currently, his presence hasn't been that prominent onscreen.

Ever since the beginning of the show, Pakhi and Toshu's characters were perceived as the constant flippers. They were mostly against Anupamaa, even if they had a realisation it would barely take them a minor inconvenience to yet again point fingers at their mother. Yet again, Pakhi is back with her blame game as she got instigated by Barkha and Malti Devi. This time, viewers aren't happy with the transition.

Malti Devi's return itself was heavily criticised by the avid Anupamaa viewers. With the current track, fans find Malti Devi and Barkha's constant scheming against Anupamaa overrated. The viewers have often requested the makers to bring a fresh story and remove a few negative characters from the show.

Vanraj and the Shahs have always behaved good or bad with Anupamaa as per their convenience and yet again with the current track, Vanraj blames Anupamaa for everything wrong in their lives and constantly humiliates her. When Anupamaa comes to celebrate her grand daughter Pari's birthday, Vanraj and Pakhi insult her and ask her to leave, Pakhi happily gives away Anu's cake to the watchman. Netizens feel that this constant flipping nature of Shahs has gone too far.

The separation of Anuj (Gaurav Khanna) and Anupamaa didn't work out for the show at first, and the TRPs dropped. The creators, on the other hand, have taken another risk by introducing Maan separation. In the trailer, Anupamaa (Rupali Ganguly) says that while her dream of visiting America came true, her loved ones were not present.

Anupamaa's upcoming storyline suggests that she has finally reached America, however, the promo makes no mention of Anupamaa achieving her long-held dream of becoming a successful dancer. Will her long-awaited dream of becoming a dancer come true now that she has arrived in America? The only way to know is to wait and see.

Malti Devi has been successful in creating Pakhi 2.0 by continuously instigating Choti Anu. However, this move proves to be evil as Choti Anu's insecurities will lead to Anupamaa and Kinjal's accident. Choti Anu has completely turned into the insecure teenage Pakhi who once couldn't handle Anupamaa bringing home a new child.
