Would like to be addressed as a father

I would like to be addressed as a father. I am enjoying the phase. Jitna ek male kar sakta hai I’m maxed out when it comes to father duties. I am doing everything I can, not because I have to but I get this feeling from inside that I should be involved with everything. I do everything diaper duties to everything. Thoda biological difference toh hai he, female is more nurturing. My main concern is their safety. Being an engineer and I’m also the person who watches the videos which say what went wrong. On fatherhood phase

Before being a father I was a proper nomadic soul. Actually, I was a boy. Joh mann mein aata tha woh kiya. I used to earn that much in which I could afford a good coffee, car and I can travel to anywhere in our country. It never occurred that u should be focused on something more concrete or constructive. But once I became a father I am focussed. There are few things which I can’t disclose here which I’m working on. (Photo: Instagram)

Abhinav's reaction to being jealous of Rubina's popularity

Aapka partner hai who is more famous then you which I admit she's more successful, more famous, more hardworking, she's more focussed than me. I see her effort to reward ratio which is way higher. She puts in more effort aur uska reward bhi usko milta hai. I am a distracted genius. Aaj idhar chale gaye kal udhar chale gaye.. so uss hisab se mujhe kaam mila hai. When I see that how can you be jealous. You can see yourself you are not even working that hard, you are not sacrificing that much in your life. Rubina is doing and that's why she is getting the reward. So when you see that how can you be jealous, you can only be inspired. (Photo: Instagram)

Rubina has never let me feel insecure

First of all Rubina is very sensible, she has never let me feel insecure and this is a chain reaction type. I also put in efforts and there is no misunderstanding just because we are people with two different popularity. I think that’s how two mature people behave. I think Umar ka yehi toh benefit hai.(Photo: Instagram)

To protect my family I can kill a guy

I’m a little old school male and I see these days a male should be capable of harm. He should do harm but to protect his family he should be capable of doing harm. I know this can be a controversial statement. If I have to kill a guy to save my family, I will do it with my bare hands. Aisa nahi main sochunga kya horaha hai yaar, I’ll go for it. I am capable of being harmful but I don’t do that. (Photo: Instagram)

Rumours of being alcoholic

There are few people who spread these rumours about me for their own personal benefit, but I don’t care. Itni gaaliyaan kha li Bigg Boss mein ab koi farak nahi padta mujhe. Everybody has some or the other rumour going around about their life, but nobody has seen it. Some people believe it and some doesn’t. I don’t worry about it. My family knows about me in and out they have been with me for so many years why will they believe someone else. No, I haven’t raised my hands on any girl aur kisi ladki ne bhi nahi maara. On his love story with Rubina Dilaik

I was in a relationship before that and it did not work out. So I was very cautious. I can’t reveal the name (bhaiya bahot bawaal hojaayega, I respect the privacy of that girl and she was someone very big). So I was careful ke bahot phookh phoonkh ke kadam rakhna hai. I really liked Rubina and in fact I initiated the photo shoot that I would like to capture you. So there was spark from both the sides. She was patient and I was cautious until she confessed and said I love. I had to catch a flight so I just told her thank you. (Laughs). (Photo: Instagram)

On facing casting couch

No, never tabhi toh zyaada kaam nahi kiya (laughs). I started my career with ramp industry which was known for casting couch. Earlier, men were cast on the basis of their ready to compromise. It was rampant but with me it was very clear that I can’t do it. Tabhi maine ginti ke 5 ramp shows kiye hain. I was famous for photo shoot model. I was part of some big ad campaigns because in the ad business there is no compromise or lobby. There was no favouritism (Laughs). (Photo: Instagram)

Working on television and flaunting abs

TV ka format he wohi tha to show bare body. All the old school TV people say the same thing. Assistant Director would come and say sir please trim you chest hair, you have your body shot next. On television acting skills doesn’t matter. Whatever shows I’ve done the first two shows were my favourite because the production house was really good and I learnt a lot. The last show which I did Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka I enjoyed doing that. (Photo: Instagram)
