From rumours with Anjali Arora to Ayesha Khan; Times Munawar Faruqui made headlines due to his relationship status

Munawar Faruqui has recently been in buzz because of his relationship status. Earlier, the standup comic had mentioned in the show that he was still dating Nazila, however, when Ayesha Khan entered, he admitted that they had broken up and he was involved with Ayesha. The confusion about Munawar's relationship status doesn't end there, after Ayesha's major confrontation, Munawar apologised and accepted his fault. Now, the housemates are finding the duo's proximity fake as they suddenly ended their tussle and started afresh. Take a look at such instances when Munawar's relationship status had made headlines:

In the show Lock Upp, when Kangana Ranaut showed a blurred picture of Munawar, his wife and his son to him. He confessed that he was married but they had already filed for divorce and later he was battling for his son's custody too. He further revealed that he did the show for his son. Munawar and his ex-wife finally divorced in 2020.

Recently, in Bigg Boss 17, Munawar shared that he had no idea that his ex-wife got married when he had called his son home for a few days. He said, "She got married, I didn't even know about it. When I called Mikhail home after 10-15 days, I found out that she got married. I called Mikhail's nana to ask whether it was true. I understood that Mikhail was here with me and she got married and left. I came to know that she went to another city completely."

Munawar and Anjali Arora had many linkup rumours when they were locked inside Lock Upp. There were instances when Anjali expressed her liking towards Munawar. She had said 'I love you' to him in the show. In one of the episodes, She said that at times, she gets that vibe from him. To this, Munawar smiled and replied, "Tere dimaag ke doctor ko bulata hoon" (I'll call your mind's doctor)."

Munawar and Nazila were in a relationship for two long years. The comic started dating her when he went for Lock Upp. Even in the Bigg boss house, he had told Mannara that he was dating Nazila, "I have been with someone for the past 2 years and it is there. I want to share with you that I was in a marriage in 2017 and in 2020 we got separated and then last year our divorce got finalised. Amid all this, the best thing about my life is that I have a son. He is 5 years old and he stays with me."

Mannara and Munawar have been friends since the beginning of Bigg Boss 17, however, there were many instances where housemates teased them. Even when Ayesha entered the show, Isha and Ankita noticed how possessive Mannara was about Munawar that she didn't leave for even a second when Ayesha and Munawar were having a conversation.

Ayesha Khan entered the Bigg Boss house accusing Munawar of being non-committal. She said, "You all know me as Ayesha Khan, there is a contestant in the show Munawar Faruqui. I have a history with him. I just want you all to know that what he is showing, he is nothing like that. After Ayesha's shocking entry in the Bigg Boss house, Nazila took to her Instagram handle and came live to clarify that she had broken up with Munawar a while ago, she said, "I am over this relationship and I have nothing to do with Munawar and I am fully completely done with it because trust me whatever you are seeing on the show is not the whole story and I want to get into the depth of how dirty it gets. This is just a pattern that is being followed in all the relationships, in his two-year relationship with me and also all his relationships.
