From schooling Palak Purswani for breaking rules to panelist Pooja Bhatt entering the house as a contestant, a look at the highlights of Bigg Boss OTT 2 premiere

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan kick-started the premiere of Bigg Boss OTT 2 with a grand performance. Salman also shared the interesting twists and rules of the show. The show will have Bigg Boss currency which is the most essential part, the contestants will have to buy everything with the BB currency in the house be it roti, kapda, makan or even the bed.

When Dibang addressed the major controversy about Tunisha Sharma's suicide. Falaq shared, "I wouldn't do anything sir, I left it to god, yes the person who lost her life held an important place in our life. Only we know the pain that we are enduring. Ammi and I still cry remembering her. It is unfortunate for us that we weren't even allowed to feel the loss. That whole phase was very troubling for us. Sheezan was in jail so that situation was very difficult. We couldn't move on from it but with time things will heal."

While sharing his first reaction to Jiya Shankar, Abhishek went overboard with his comments due to which Jiya and Abhishek had a tiff on the stage itself. Later, the panel paired them together and sent them inside the house. When they entered, they ended up sharing the bed as they had less money.

After making a grand entry, Salman Khan asked Akanksha about her strict time tables. She revealed that she likes to follow everything according to her timetable, and she also sorts her dates the same way. The panel quizzed Akanksha about her timetable attitude. Akanksha said that she is like that and this has been his attitude for the longest time. Sandiip Sikcand said, "You should have been a part of season 13 as you were most talked about when both your exes were inside the house. Do you think you invite controversies or they are because of you?" Akanksha says, "I don't know how but I always end up where controversy happens."

The panel held Akanksha back and did not give her any rank as they felt she was too prim and proper for the show and not how MC Stan was in the show. Akanksha was asked to sit on the waiting chair for her chance to come. Sandiip even said, "There are chances that you might not go inside the house too."

While meeting Cyrus Broacha's wife, host Salman Khan encountered an awkward situation. As soon as he greeted his wife, she complained that he had thrown her out of the set of one of his films. Salman was stunned after hearing the news. He then joked that she must have taken some nasty shots or photos that he didn't want to see. He kept pulling her leg.

Manisha Rani's entry was extremely entertaining. The social media sensation didn't let Salman Khan speak a word. She further revealed that she wanted a guy who could speak English. Salman then blindfolded her and introduced Jad Hadid. After meeting each other, Manisha started flirting with Jad in her broken English and promised to teach him Hindi.

Salman Khan asked Aaliya about her kids and Nawazuddin Siddiqui's reaction to her decision on entering Bigg Boss OTT 2, Aaliya shared, "At this point when I got the offer I felt that I wanted to talk about myself and remove the negative image that was set. My daughter Shora is 13-year-old and my son Yani is 8-year-old. Nawaz will take them to Paris for their vacation. My daughter had many concerns about the fights. But I made her understand and she has been extremely supportive."

She further shared, "Nawaz supported me in this decision and also chose to take care of our children. He only asked me to do Bigg Boss OTT 2."

Avinash Sachdev blamed the termination of his relationship on all of his ex-girlfriends. He claimed that his ex-girlfriends were always attempting to play the role of his mother. Salman Khan, on the other hand, introduced his ex-girlfriend Palak Purswani as one of his co-contestants, which added a significant twist.

When the competitors saw each other, Salman questioned if they had ever met before. They both agreed on it. Salman lost his cool with the team and asked them not to do such things around him. He should be informed in advance if the contestants have a history or are each other's ex-partners. Instead of inciting a cold war, he should be informed beforehand.

Salman Khan schooled Palak Purswani for violating a crucial rule. The actress told her pals on whatsapp that she is one of the Bigg Boss OTT 2 contestants. This was against the terms of the contract and she breached it. He even shared the screenshot of the message which was more like a vote appeal before her entry in the show and she also revealed her tag #DramaQueen in the message. Disappointed by her behaviour, the panellist also declined to ask her any questions and placed her in the wait section.

After sending Avinash Sachdev inside the house, Salman Khan revealed that he will be sending one more contestant but to everyone's surprise that person will be from the panel. Salman called out Pooja Bhatt's name and revealed that she will be the 13th contestant. Pooja got the first position and received 1,30,000 BB currency inside the house. After entering, Pooja chose the most expensive bed for herself.

The popular model Jad Hadid opened up all about his difficult childhood. He described how his parents abandoned him when he was born. His neighbours reared him. He revealed that he was homeschooled and never attended school as a child. "When kids went to school, I used to clean floors," recounts Jad Hadid.

Puneet applied two tubes of toothpaste and also poured all the face wash on his head. The contestant tried to injure himself and then Bigg Boss schooled him for violating the BB property. Puneet lost his cool over BB and threatened to leave the show. He also expressed his dissatisfaction with the Bigg Boss panellists for placing him 10th on the candidates' list and decreasing his BB money, which prevented him from purchasing a bed in the house. He also demanded that the panellists apologise to him for dropping him from second to tenth place.
