Rupali Ganguly reacted to a message shared by Fawad Khan, where he called Operation Sindoor “shameful.” She said, “You working in Indian films was also ‘shameful’ for us.” The actress further shared, “Unfollowing me won’t bring any betterment to your country. First ask your government and army to stop terrorism against India — this will be the only way for the betterment of Pakistan. Your following or unfollowing may make a difference to an artist but not to an Indian. And I’m an Indian first. A proud INDIAN.”

Rupali Ganguly has had an ongoing feud with step-daughter Esha Verma. It started after Esha made a post on Facebook, making some serious allegations against the Anupamaa actress. She wrote, “This is absolutely pathetic. Does anyone know the real story of Rupali Ganguly? She has had an affair with Ashwin K Verma for twelve years while he was in his second marriage. Ashwin has two daughters from his previous marriages. She is nothing but a cruel-hearted woman who has done nothing but try to separate me and my sister—his own daughters—from their father. He used to live in California and then New Jersey for around 13–14 years before moving to fair Mumbai. The two have one son, not a real two. I’m speaking out because she claims all over the media that she has a happy marriage with my dad, when in reality she’s controlling and psychotic towards him.” Rupali then filed a defamation case against Esha.

After Esha shared the post on her social media, Ashwin made a clarification, claiming Rupali was in no way the reason for his separation from his previous marriage. Reacting to the accusations, Ashwin wrote, “I do have daughters from previous relationships—something Rupali and I have always been open about and that I care deeply for. I understand that my younger daughter still holds a lot of hurt about the dissolution of her parents’ relationship, as divorce is a difficult experience that can greatly affect and harm the children involved.” He continued, “Marriages end for many reasons, and my relationship with my second wife had multiple challenges that led to our separation—challenges between us alone, with no involvement from anyone else. I only want the best for my children and my wife, and it saddens me to see anyone drawn into cycles of negativity.”

Sudhanshu’s sudden exit from Anupamaa and him unfollowing the actress on Instagram fuelled rumours of them not getting along with each other. Reports claimed that the two aren’t on good terms. However, their on-screen performance on Anupamaa was appreciated by the fans.

According to reports, Gaurav and Rupali didn’t really get along. Rumours of a rift between the on-screen duo often make it to the headlines. However, neither Gaurav Khanna nor Rupali Ganguly has reacted to the claims yet. Fans loved and adored their on-screen chemistry in the show.
