Namish Taneja, who essays Samar Surana in Main Maayke Chali Jaungi Tum Dekhte Rahiyo, goes lengths to get his wife Jaya back into his life. Speaking about his look, the actor says, “Just like the real life, it is very difficult to portray a woman in reel life too. It took me 4 hours to get myself shaved and waxed to look remotely appealing as a woman. Makes me realize that women really take a lot of effort and we men barely are appreciative.”

Talking about it, "I already had to work on my voice to play Krishna. I had to tone down the bass in my voice for this role to make it sound soft, playfully sweet to go with the character which is tough. And then I was pushed further when I had to dub for Gopadevi. I had to walk an extra mile to achieve what was expected of me. The voice had to be feminine and at the same time comical. It's very difficult and my throat gives away. Also working on the body language and nuances was tricky. But I am in love with this challenge thrown at me and lucky to work with a team that has their interests and beliefs vested in me."
