Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fame Vaishali Takkar (30) was found dead at her Indore residence where she lived with her family. Her suicide note revealed that she was troubled by her neighbour Rahul Navlani and wanted him to be punished for torturing her mentally for 2.5 years. The Madhya Pradesh police on Monday booked Rahul Navlani and his wife Disha for allegedly harassing and abetting TV actress Vaishali Takkar's suicide. Kushal Punjabi, who was part of popular TV shows like Ishq Mei Marjawan, Ek Se Badhkar Ek and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa among others, was found hanging at his residence in Mumbai on December 26, 2019. Sejal Sharma, who rose to popularity with TV show Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji, died by suicide on January 24, 2020 in her flat at Royal Nest housing society on Mira Road. A suicide note found on her stated that nobody should be blamed for her suicide. Sejal was reportedly depressed after the abrupt end of her show, according to her friends. They also hinted at a relationship angle that had added to her woes.

Aadat Se Majboor and Kuldeepak actor Manmeet Grewal, 32, died by suicide at his residence in Navi Mumbai on May 15, 2020. The actor was in huge financial stress and was not getting any new projects during the lockdown, according to the police. He was found hanging in the bedroom by his wife.
