However, before he could rejoice and rewind, things took a completely different turn, and he got arrested in an alleged Rs 5 crore fraud case. Jay Dundhane was going for honeymoon on January 4, 2026, but was arrested by Thane Police at the Mumbai Airport. As the cops took him to the police van, Jay confessed his innocence in the matter in front of the media. He called the allegations false and showed trust in the justice system.

“I was about to go on my honeymoon. My brother, my wife, and my brother's wife—the four of us were going abroad. I didn't even know that an arrest warrant or an LOC (Lookout Circular) had been issued in my name. The police told me that I couldn't leave the country, so I am fully cooperating with the police,” he said, addressing the media, according to ANI.
“A false case hasn't been filed against me, but many things have been misrepresented. I am ready to face everything at my level. I have complete faith in justice. This case is completely false,” he concluded.

According to IANS, Jay Dudhane has been arrested in an alleged fraud of Rs 5crpre. He has been accused of using fabricated documents to sell the same shop to multiple buyers. The agency further stated that the investigation is underway. Reportedly, Jay’s brother, sister-in-law, and his wife, Harshala, are also being questioned following the arrest.
