Kaun Banega Crorepati 16: Amitabh Bachchan shares wife Jaya Bachchan was a part of NCC Cadet, says 'She had led her battalion in Republic Day parade'
In the latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16, host Amitabh Bachchan welcomes the contestant Neha from Budhlada, Punjab who has completed her master’s and now aspires to be a soldier. Big B quickly makes her understand the rules of the game and even compliments her outfit. Soon when Neha talks about her aspiration, Amitabh Ji realises why she had saluted the hotseat.
Amitabh Bachchan then asks the second question worth Rs 2000: A set of scales which symbolises Justice and Trade represents which sign of the Zodiac?
A) Capricon B) Cancer C) Libra D) Taurus
Neha takes her first lifeline Audience poll to answer the question, she chooses option C with the audience's help. Big B then reminds her that even he is a librian and his birthday is soon to come.
Neha then talks about how she lost weight by cycling. Amitabh remembers an anecdote and shares how he had cycled to Chandigarh for admission. He even shared that he had held onto the bus to reach Chandigarh sooner. Neha then answers Super Sawaal correctly and activates Dugnastra.
Big B then asked why did Neha want to become a soldier, she shared, "At first, I didn't have any aim and then when I joined college, I took up NCC." She further asked about how he felt while working as an army officer in films.
Amitabh Bachchan then shared, "The first thing that I find appealing about the army is their uniform. Just wearing the uniform can change the atmosphere; it instils a sense of discipline and seriousness in how tasks are approached. I’ve often said that every individual should spend three to four months in the army just to experience the training. In the army, you learn what patience truly means. It prepares us for any situation that may arise in the country, ensuring we are ready to fight if necessary. I believe everyone should consider joining the army. If the opportunity ever arises." He concluded by saying that if given a chance, he would willingly join the army.
Big B further shared an anecdote about Jaya Bachchan being a part of the Cadet, "Yes, she was an NCC Cadet, she had once shared that she was junior NCC Cadet and she had led her battalion in the Republic Day Parade and they had even been awarded as the best cadet. Hopefully, I have said it correctly, warna aaj ghar jaunga toh bohot maar padegi." He further shared, "I would love to meet you when you become an officer, our country needs diligent officers like you."
