Koffee With Karan 6: Kartik Aryan is earning money to ask Sara Ali Khan out, Kriti Sanon denies dating Sushant Singh Rajput

The latest episode of Koffee With Karan 6 saw Karan Johar welcoming young actors, Kartik Aryan and Kriti Sanon, on the show. Unlike other guests, Kartik Aryan brought sweets for the host. He told Karan his mother was elated to hear that he was going to appear on Koffee With Karan. Hence, she sent him the sweets from Gwalior. Karan appreciated the gesture.

Karan learnt on the coffee couch that it wasn't just Kartik who is an engineer, but also Kriti Sanon. While Kriti completed her course well in time, Kartik got done with his B.Tech while shooting for Punchnama 2. He shared with Karan that he came to Mumbai but was more busy in giving auditions than attending classes. Due to shortage of attendance, he also got himself enrolled in another college, and continued to struggle for acting projects.

Kartik revealed he lived in a two-bedroom apartment with 12 boys. They slept in groups of 4 in the 2 rooms and the remaining adjusted in the drawing room. He called those days as fun and revealed that he used to cook for his flatmates, and contrary to the rumours, he wasn't paid for it.

Karan tried to seek clarity from Kartik about his dinner date with Ananya Pandey and movie outing with Shraddha Kapoor. The latter told him Shraddha is friend, and he just went out for a casual dinner with Ananya. He also told Karan that he is busy earning money to win over Sara and her father, who had mentioned in the KWK episode that the guy who'd ask Sara out should be rich. Kriti, meanwhile, denied dating Sushant Singh Rajput. Karan, however, wasn't convinced as he shared that she broke-up with Sushant recently.

When Kartik also denied dating anyone at the moment, citing work as his main focus, Karan shifted his attention to Kriti. He confessed he has tried playing a matchmaker between her and Aditya Roy Kapur, who found her cute at a party. Kriti was surprised to learn this and joked that he should try harder. She said it's a pre-requisite for her man to be tall and have a good personality.

Kriti told Karan that she wasn't noticed until her recent film. She was only thought of as a glam doll. She also confessed she is ambitious and the roles didn't come as easy to her like other star kids. Kartik agreed with her and felt that even he had to struggle in his initial days unlike other actors, but he also admitted that it is eventually talent that survives. He shared that it would be good if there was a healthy competition between Ranbir Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and him.

Kartik and Kriti didn't take the shots for having friends with benefits. Kriti took one for having a crush on a co-star. They both took shots for lying on the coffee couch. During the koffee shots, it was learnt that both Kriti and Kartik have suffered heartbreaks, cried after auditions, snooped on their partner's phone, and hit on a co-star. Karan asked Kriti how many relationships she has been in, she told him two and a half. Kartik revealed he has just been in one, with a heartbreaking expression as it was one-sided.

Kriti took Tiger Shroff's name for bae, and chose Sushant Singh and Varun Dhawan to play with. She revealed she had Hrithik Roshan's poster in her room as a teenager. She said she admired Alia's body of work and would stay away from Sara's wardrobe as it's not how she usually styles herself. She said she'd set Kartik up with Sara, if she had to. She also chose Sara over Janhvi. She took Ranveer and Sidharth's name when it came to sexy actors in the industry.

Karan asked Kartik who he thought was overrated in Bollywood. Kartik was bafffled and couldn't choose. However, he was zapped when he learnt that Badshah felt he was overrated. Kartik revealed that Badshah had called him after watching his film and told him that his family loved his performance. He also shared he loves the rapper's music. During the rapid fire round, Kartik told Karan he feels he could have done a better job in Andhadhun than Ayushman, and added that it is also a lie that he can say without batting an eyelid. He confessed he hasn't shared his best kiss on-screen, yet. He chose Ananya and Janhvi to play with and picked Sara as his bae. Most of his answers centred around Sara though.

The two enthusiastically fought in the gaming round. Kriti took the lead in the first round and the second one. They also ended up arguing while playing the game. It was eventually Kriti who won this round.
