Krystle D'Souza's roles that defined her TV career: ‘Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai’ to ‘Belan Wali Bahu’:

Krystle D'Souza has given us some truly unforgettable characters on Indian television. She is known for playing roles that are both soft and incredibly strong. What makes her special is her ability to play all kinds of roles. She can be the perfect sister, a modern feminist daughter-in-law, or even a clumsy wife in a comedy. She has never stuck to just one type of character. Here is a look at the famous serials and roles that define her career.

2/6

‘Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai’

This is probably one of her most famous roles. She portrayed the role of an elder sister, Jeevika Vadhera. She showed grace and maturity with this character. She made an ultimate sacrifice on the show to save her sister. Her chemistry with her on-screen husband, Viren, played by Karan Tacker, and her strong bond with her sister Manvi, played by Nia Sharma, made this character memorable.

3/6

‘Ekk Nayi Pehchaan’

Krystle broke the stereotype of the weeping daughter-in-law in this show. She played Sakshi Modi, a modern and confident woman. Instead of arguing with her mother-in-law, she became her strongest supporter. Sakshi helped her mother-in-law learn how to read, write, and discover her own identity. It was a progressive role that fans loved.

4/6

‘Brahmarakshas - Jaag Utha Shaitan’

This time, she stepped away from family dramas. Krystle took on the supernatural thriller genre. She played Raina Sharma alongside Rishabh Shrivastava (Aham Sharma). She was a brave girl who got caught in a battle against a demon. She transformed from a sweet bride into a warrior battling for her survival.

5/6

‘Belan Wali Bahu’

Krystle showcased her comedic timing in this role. She played Roopa Awasthi alongside Dheeraj Sarna (Amarnath Awasthi). She portrayed a clumsy and innocent housewife. The show’s unique plot involved her accidentally killing her husband with a rolling pin (belan). She then has to deal with his ghost. Her confused and cute expressions added to the entertainment quotient.

6/6

‘Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil’

In the early days of her career, Krystle played the character of Veera Juneja Maan in 'Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil.' She was the hero’s sister—a shy, soft-spoken, and innocent girl. Although it was a supporting role, her screen presence was undeniable. It helped establish her as a sweet face on Indian television.
