Reem hurt her face while cooking on the sets of Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment, as hot oil was splattered on her face, resulting in severe burns. The actress updated her fans on her condition and provided before and after photos of her injuries. She wrote, "I’ve healed.. Nothing can break a woman who gets her strength from God."

As Reem Shaikh shared the post, her industry friends, fans, and well-wishers responded with positive comments and praised her for standing the test of time.
